| | going to 9:30 Club tonight to see The Format (among others). The ticket says Motion City Soundtrack - and, of course, I wanna see them too - but oh, man, I don't think The Format's ever come to the East Coast before, and I might be mistaken - I probably am mistaken (GOD, ME! WHY AM I SUCH A POSEUR!) so, whatever . . . the 9:30 Club is at the corner of 9th and V, north of Gallery Place with its MCI Center and tapas, and east of U Street, with its shiny new condominiums and the amazing Love Cafe . . . fuck, I haven't eaten yet today and all I can think about is food . . . I mean, 9:30 is in a sketchy neighborhood (GOD, ME! WHY AM I SO GODDAMN SUBURBAN!) and I just want something to eat and I won't want anything down there . . . my head hurts. Anyway. The Format! Fuck yeah!
