aiyoyo. there's still so much more of NS i haven't put in...this is never ending, i tell you! well, it is pretty impossible to put everything i've experienced and learnt in those 14 weeks. but this'll be my last NS post.

Its not that I have nothing better do to, just that I got hit by a cam-whoring bug!
Which remainds me, I've always wondered why taking excessive pictures of yourself is denoted as cam-whoring. In the first place, there is no such word found anywhere in the dictionary or thesaurus. To feed my evergrowing curiousity, I've decided to do some extensive research! Here's what free.dictionary.com has to say:

Cam-whore is not available in the general English dictionary and thesaurus. Try:

The term "cam whore" is also used to refer to individuals who post pictures or videos of themselves on the Internet to gain attention. It baffles me why any person would want to define taking wholesome pictures of themselves as a CAM WHORING. In the first place, I am not using any eccentric curved wheel to take pictures of myself. And secondly, the last thing I want to associate myself as in this world is a prostitute I am not using my camera to have any sexual relations with prostitutes nor am I accepting payment for any sexual-interests I might have aroused though my sampat pictures. And I am definitely not posting up wholesome pictures of myself on the Internet to gain attention! (or maybe, just maybe...I am? haha)
Which brings me to question, who is the smarty-ass princess that came up with the briliant idea of coining the words 'cam' and 'whore' together to un-explicitly delineate people who take wholesome enjoyable pictures of themselves?
Unless of course I've been living in oblivion to the fact that the term cam-whore was all the while meant for people who post up promiscuos pictures of themselves to gain sexually-unwanted attention. But for as long as I can remember, whenever a group of girls have nothing better to do, the scenario would be like this:
GIRL 1: (nudges and calls out to all her girl friends)'EEeeehhhhh come lets all take sampat pictures of ourselves!!!'
GIRL 2: Ooooooh ok, I always like cam-whoring!'
GIRL 3: Yay, let's make it a good cam-whoring session!!!
(all runs to demonstrate their poser and 'lala' picture taking skills)
Kill me for being obsolete, but is there a new term for 'cam-whoring' in my context?

My finals is up next week so I doubt Ill be able to go out. Wait la, till after 22nd, then Im free from imprisonment.
met up with andrew who's back for the summer holidays here in malaysia, along with wei qi and li foong (whom i also have not seen in ages!) so, it was a good meet up. and i'm so sorry for dragging all of you around KLCC, like a hundred rounds.

i enjoyed myself super duper much that day besides being super exhausted at the end of the day. meeting up with old friends are one of the best things in life , don't you agree?
