1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? went to Los Angeles, got 2 4.0's, got my first car accident and ticket 2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't believe in them....if you're going to make a promise to yourself, why wait for a new year? 3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Only if you count watching Rachel on Friends have her baby for the 3rd time 4. Did anyone close to you die? No, thankfully 5. What countries did you visit? Just the good old U.S. of A. 6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? Hmm...I don't know, honestly 7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? September 23rd 8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? I won the essay contest for the English department and found out that I'm going to Utah... 9. What was your biggest failure? it's personal 10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Yes, I've ended the year being sick, and I had an ulcer in April-May 11. What was the best thing you bought? Hmmm...my furniture, which I bought myself  12. Whose behavior merited celebration? behavior? Jease I don't know 13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? my former roommate(s), and Carolyn's 14. Where did most of your money go? Uh...A&M. 15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? moving in with Pam 16. What song will always remind you of 2005? "Take My Picture" by Filter 17. Compared to this time last year, are you: i. happier or sadder? more mature/understanding of how the world works; that's makes you a little sadder, but a little more appreciative ii. thinner or fatter? Same iii. richer or poorer? Richer personally, because I make more money, but that's by such a tiny amount, and my loans just keep stacking up for school....so we'll say there's a general net loss. 18. What do you wish you'd done more of? Hanging out with smart people from classes 19. What do you wish you'd done less of? studying, but it has paid off, and worrying 20. How will you be spending Christmas? At home, and being sick 21. Who had the biggest influence on your life in 2005? Biggest influence of a single person? Joey 22. Did you fall in love in 2005? sure 23. How many one-night stands? 32 24. What was your favorite TV program? Friends, Sex and the City, SVU 25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? hate's a harsh word, but there are people I don't care for, but it all evens out 26. What was the best book you read? Empire Falls by Richard Russo 27. What was your greatest musical discovery? Cake and The Cure. Yes they've both been around, but I hadn't discovered the goodness that is Cake 28. What did you want and get? iPod 29. What did you want and not get? a healthy immune system  30. What was your favorite film of this year? Gee, I don't know. I've seen soooo many movies. But I can tell you, it is NOT Red Eye. Definately not. Cillian Murphy and Rachel McAdams, how could you go so wrong? 31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 21. And I got a hurricane and a Painkiller for my birthday! 32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? I don't have that kind of imagination 33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? jeans 34. What/who kept you sane? I know it sounds so lame, but my Friends DVDs, because when I'm stressed, I just pop em in and pass right out 35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? David Bowie 36. What political issue stirred you the most? the issue of not having an iPod and watching people with terrible taste inadvertently rub it in my face 37. Who did you miss? Joey 38. Who was the best new person you met? the best new person I've met? Best is hard. But there are alot of people that I love, friends from work and writers, etc 39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2005: Lower your expectations of people. They're all selfish. Cynical, I know, but it's true. 40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
