  •   Who painted the mural in the hatch?  There used to be much speculation that it could have been Thomas, Claire's ex-boyfriend and father of Aaron.  Notice the similarities:

However, the Season 2 Extras confirm that it was indeed Desmond.

Okay, so that theory is over.  However, take a look at the whole mural

and you can see what looks like a black priest in the top right corner.  Did Desmond dream about Eko's brother, like Locke did?  Or did he actually see him in the jungle before he died?

Here is something else to consider:

Yeah, I have no idea what that means.

There you go, something to think about until the premiere!

  • New Season- October 4

The new season begins October 4 and I am just itching to start up with this site again.

I feel like questions about things like the numbers have sort of fallen by the wayside for the time being, sort of like what happened to the mysterious monster, whom we haven't seen or heard of since "Psalm 23."

I'm sure the season premiere will bring plenty of questions and puzzles, which always makes Lost fans happier than a bunch of answers.  We want things to figure out!

Things they might address (even if they don't answer or solve) on the premiere would include things like:

    1. The fate of Desmond, Locke, and Eko

    2. What made the sky that crazy ultraviolet color

    3. What's up with the giant 4-toed statue?

    4. Will Hurley and the other Lostaways attempt to rescue Jack, Kate, and Sawyer?

    5. How far out to see will Michael get before something goes wrong?

    Until that fateful Wednesday.....

  • The Wizard of Oz and Lost?

This is an interesting theory on the link between the most recent episode of Lost and The Wizard of Oz. I did not come up with this but DO think it is immensely cool.

The man Sayid tortured said his name was Henry Gale---which is the same name as Dorothy's uncle in the Wizard of Oz. But in her "dream" her Uncle Henry is NOT the one who tries to rescue her in the hot air balloon, it is the Wizard, who is played by actor Frank Morgan, who also portrays Professor Marvel in the movie.

Also, the Glae family lives in Kansas. The man Sayid totures says he is from Minnesota---which just happens to be the home of the Judy Garland and Wizard of Oz Exhibit, a hands-on museum. Minnesota is also the home to the world's largest iron ore mines. The man Sayid tortures says he was in mining before he sold his company.

And lastly, there have been some Pink Flyod references from previous shows and some of you may remember one of their albums, Dark Side if the Moon--can be synchronized with the Wizard of Oz movie. If you start the album at the beginning of the movie (when the lion roars) all of the songs directly tie in with what is happening in the movie.

I think the man Sayid is torturing is an other---but was born in Minnesota and is basing his story by recalling facts he learned from museums he's visited
    when he was younger.

    What do you think?

About Me

  • These are my thoughts and theories on all things Lost, plus little tidbits of information you might have missed the first time around. I have no special Lost expertise, I have never even been to Hawaii. I'm just a girl in Texas who loves a show. In a healthy way. I don't have Jack's face or anything having to do with Lost tattooed on my body. And I've never played "the numbers" in the lottery.
