So life is pretty good lately, Going out with Amber is pretty damn cool, I've liked her for awhile now. Now it's finally...going on. So that's all good. We finally beat Halo 2!
Hmmm, school's kinda decent, my grades aren't good, but they could be a LOT worse. Grades aren't everything though, if I concentrated on them too much I think I'd go insane.
I finished my Farenhiet 451 book, it was pretty good. The part where he lights the guy up with the flamethrower was pretty cool, i really didn't expect it. Anyone who is having trouble with the book, just keep reading, it gets better and better. I actually liked it, which is saying alot.
Well, I decided the military is not the way to go. As much as I'd love to go, it's just, not gonna work. I'm kinda undecided on if I really wanted to go anyways. It kinda scares me, well, it scares me alot. I don't wanna end up with an arm off or something.
I hate British people.
I was talkin' to Nathaniel and Drew at lunch, I think it's about time we rounded up the posse again, a little taste of the old days.
Church ski trip soon, I cannot wait. I'm snowboarding, and I'm gonna jump some ramps, yes, I will most likely break myself in half...Or end up with an arm off.
And now, for my movie review of the Update.
MOVIE OF THE WEEK:
CHRONICLES OF NARNIA:THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE
The Chroncicles of Narnia is an exceptional movie worthy of your hard earned money. My initial worries that it would be a cuddly cute Disney movie were quickly washed away when German Bombers started barraging 1940's Europe. This suprisingly intense scene led up to a very interesting and somewhat slow entrance into Narnia, a fictional fairytale-like land.
The Land of Narnia first appears as tranquil, and happy. This is changed quite quickly as one of the newly found Narnians is taken away for chatting it up with one of the main characters in the story.
It soon appears that not all is well in the land of Narnia and the four stars of the movie are tasked with making things right. It's a long and adventurous road to victory, along the way they meet many friends and jsut as many enemies, Including a queen in which I have no doubt you will hate at her every appearance.
The movie is not without Disney trademarks however, as no main character actually dies and no blood is ever shown, beyond that of a puffed up lip. It even has the motif of talking animals, I'll let it slide however, as this was pulled directly from the book.
All in all, the Chronicles of Narnia is a very solid movie with a very dramatic ending, I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
