| (This Background picture was taken on the streets of Dublin)......Just to let you know...
The Trip to Ireland:
Along
the hills of the gusty countryside, through the mountains, and into the
valley, you will find no end to the wondrous and endless calm of
Dublin.
Though this is not where we spent the entirety of the trip, you begin to learn right away that this beautiful place, very lush and green dose not go by the winds of change and life for money and worldly things.....but what is important to live by, and what will get you by safely and sound.
While on this trip, you begin to see right away that these
people have places to go, and people to see...and they intend not to be
corrupted by the slow goers. They depend on the time and the seasons.
As we were only there for eight days, we had the chance to see many
churches, such as St. Fin bar's Cathedral, and St. Anne's in Limerick,
and the Church of St. Patrick in Dublin.
I would have to say that our performances and mostly our
memories were built upon the people we had the opportunity to share our
passion of playing bells with. We played at an Underprivileged
Children's school in Dublin, that as well as an all boys school in
Cork. For one
underprivileged School, (mostly 1-5k kids)
and also for the churches: St. Annie's Cathedral, including St. Fin
bars
Cathedral, and St. Patric's church, we played every 32 songs in out
repertoire, and every strain that we as a whole suffered through in
these aching performances, it was all so worth it in the end.. It was
amazing for the
Bell choir. Because ever since ten years ago, they have never seen a
bell choir that could play as (one instrument). It's
amazing how we can move a person with how our choir works. And seeing
as how Dublin, and the other great city's of the Emerald IL are great
society's built up upon music and fellowship, and singing and Dancing,
it surprised me to find that we were the only bell choir that they have
ever seen. Those children, (so young and Innocent) were moved to
tears, and were all too joyed at the fact that a REAL hand bell choir
was there to perform JUST for them.
The collect of the trip was spent on traveling. The moment we landed
in Dublin, we got onto the coach, met Derick the driver, and his son,
(little Derick Jr) and we were off through the Countryside of Dublin,
tarting at the east coast, driving through Limerick, and County Clair,
and Cork, all the way to the West coast to the Cliffs Of Mohrre. I
can't tell you how beautiful the sites I saw were, nor how lucky I was
to go there. I will probably never have that chance again for as long
as I live.
It was something
thought to be inconceivable. But the amazing thing is how all of thee
different people, Christian, and Non-christian can come together and
make it work. I guess that's why I like it so much, because there is
no limit to our ability, and mobility as far as our affectations, and
performances as a whole. It impresses me to this day, and I'm not even
in the audience. I like to think that we can change people, and move
people with our music, and I will carry these memories to my grave.

| Hey everybody.
I've broken down and gotten an Xanga again.
I oficially can consider myself connected with the outside world once again......*wonders why it would conect me in the first place*..ohh yea, because everyone I know/care about has an xanga...oh sweet... _________
Asside from these monumental improvements of myself, I'm doing well in school/life in general. I have a girlfriend now, and we're at 6 months already, and still it feels like we're just started. I've recently made a trip with the D.S.B.C aka(Dorothy Shaw Bell Choir) to Dublin Ireland. And will be making at least ONE more international trip with the choir before I leave next year. Besides that, I'm trying to finish up my Junior year in Highschool, and am found most of the time in my room txting or doing homework, and whenever I get a free moment, I hang with friends.
Here are a few pics from Ireland:

I'm Having a hard time labeling these pictures and keeping the font in one I have chosen, I'll figure this out later and add more pics....I just wanted you guys to have SOME idea of what everything looked like....
