| I don't have much to say right now, but I'll say it anyways...
This weekend was awesome! Saturday we went to the Capital City mall for a little while, and I got some movies. Then we drove around to some other stores and got some more movies. Then we went to Applebee's for an early dinner. Mmmm . Then I waited around at home until Becca's mom came to pick me up. We went to Becca's church and waited for her to get home from Toronto. It was so great to finally see her again . So we hung around for a little while, and then we went to Red Robin. I wasn't hungry, so I just ordered some french fries. Then they took me home and just hung around.
Sunday was great! I got up and just waited around until Becca came to pick me up. Then we went back to her house and hung out until almost 8, when we went swimming at her flute teacher's pool. That was fun . Of course, any time I get to spend with her is fun!! I love her so much!
Logan's coming over today!!! I haven't seen him in forever. We'll probably just play Xbox360 and stuff. But it'll be fun!
| Yet again I've managed to go almost a month without updating this thing. I'm sure that once school starts I'll do entries more often, but this may be the last one for a little while.
I can't believe that summer's already over. It's been almost two months, but it feels like 3 weeks. I didn't accomplish anything! I didn't lose any weight, I didn't practice my district solo enough, and I'm having the first Dizzy Red practice in over 2 months today. Jeeze, talk about disappointing. That's okay though; I spent a lot of the summer fixing some personal things, so we'll see how those things go. I've had a lot of family problems, though, so hopefully by the school year, those will resolve because I won't have time for that during the school year. I'm actually going to try this year. That means homework at home and not in the morning and no procrastinating on projects. I need to prove to myself that I can get straight As. I think Honors Trig/Precalc is going to affect that greatly, though.
This week has been one of the longest weeks of my life. Becca left for Toronto on Sunday morning, and I haven't talked to her since. Adam Green is gone for the week, too, and Austin just got the plate in his head replaced last Wednesday or Thursday, so I don't want to bother him. On Monday Nick, Mom, and I left for Allentown, and that was fun. We just chilled in the hotel room and went out for a little while on Monday. On Tuesday we went to Dorney Park, and it was awesome, as usual! I even managed to win something for Becca! And then Wednesday morning we left, and I've been bored ever since. I miss Becca a ton!! I'm just glad she gets back tomorrow!! I'm so excited! I'm also anxious to see what music we'll be playing in marching band this year. I'm also kind of nervous about being in co-charge of the drumline with Logan. I don't know how we're going to be without Phil. I just hope someone else good can step up to plate because I can only bat once. This new school year looks to be pretty exciting, though. Becca and I are coming up on our anniversary, and I'm so happy!! I can't quite imagine my life without her!! I love her so much!
So how about that for an update?
EDIT: Band practice was awesome! We jammed for an hour and a half, and then we went to Starbucks. Then we tried to empty Kevin's gas tanks in his truck, but we couldn't quite manage it. Only a day until Becca comes home! Yay!
| Well, now that it's been about a month, I figure I'll give a short update.
Summer is so bittersweet. It's great to not be in school and all, but sometimes I miss it. I don't see many of my friends (because most of them don't want to even hang out with me). It's disappointing to know that. I've hung out with like 4 different people this summer, and no one else wants to ever go anywhere or do anything with me. It's really nice to know that I'm not appreciated by most of you...
Summer has been fun, though. I love the feeling of being able to do whatever the hell I want. But I wish more people would do things with me...Maybe I'm not cool enough...
| Wow. It has been a longggg time.
The month of May has been a rather exciting one. I'm basically having a blast in my last month as a sophomore. But I think I'm having a falling out with some friends. I feel like I'm not even on the same team as some of my friends (I'm positive I said that to one of you, and that's how I feel). Those people don't include Becca, by the way. We're doing great! In fact, it's just a couple of people. And they probably wouldn't even think that we weren't on the same team. But that's okay, because I'm having too much fun to worry about the people who don't give a crap. It's their loss, not mine.
I've gotten new drums, new CDs, new DVDs, new public recognition, new privileges, new experiences, new friends (sort of), and a new appreciation for life. I love my life, and I love the one I'm sharing it with (Becca, duh ). Things can't get much better. Even Chem is going well.
Dizzy Red has a slot at the Art Show on Friday, May 26. We play from 11:45-12:15. Come watch us (and me) rock out. I even have a solo .
| Well, I figured it's about time for an update, considering I haven't done so in over a week.
This weekend was awesome!
Friday was a cool field trip to watch some flamenco dancing and stuff and then El Rodeo for lunch. After school we had band practice.
Saturday I went to Dale's and got my beautiful new Bubinga snare drum for my birthday. My birthday's not until the 15th, but my dad got it for me so I'd have it for Dizzy Red's show at the Amani Festival. It sounds phenomenal. It makes all my other drums sound better, too. I also got a new head for the front of my bass drum. It has a hole for easy micing.
Sunday (today) was sweet, as always. Becca came over and we hung out. It was great, as usual. We went to Olive Garden today. It was really good. I got Chicken Parmigiana. I love her .
