  • Living in Sin

    I was just reading an article by FoxSexpert Yvonne K. Fulbright about "Living in Sin."



    Fulbright was discussing in her article the pros and cons of living together before marriage.

    She lists some of the pros of living together before marriage:  Financial benefits, companionship and testing the compatibility.  She lists other reasons in the article.

    She also lists some of the cons of living together before marriage:  Higher divorce rate in U.S. if a person lives together first, more infidelity and more domestic abuse.  Here is the link:  Link

  • The White Vote

    Hillary Clinton pointed out that the white vote is voting for her.



    She gave an interview with USA TODAy and said, "I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on."  She pointed out an article written on the Associated press "that found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."

    Hillary Clinton has won six out of 10 white votes in both Indiana and North Carolina.  She lost North Carolina and was close in Indiana because 9 out of 10 black voters voted for Obama. 

    Hillary Clinton does not believe it is divisive to deal with the race issue and white voters.  She said, "These are the people you have to win if you're a Democrat in sufficient numbers to actually win the election. Everybody knows that."  Here is the link:  Link

    Dear Hillary,




    It is impossible for you to win the popular vote now.  You will not win the most delegates at this point.  There is no way that 66% of the Superdelegates are going to overturn the will of the voters.  Everyone is saying you can't win.

    I am so glad you won't let something silly like the good of the party stand in the way of your ambition.  Just hang in there and do what is best for Hillary.

  • Pregnant cop denied bid to get office duty

    Police officer Sonia Henriques has done what no police officer was expected to do.



    She had sex and got pregnant.  Her doctor recommended that she go on light duty.  She requested light duty and the police chief denied her request saying their was no provisions made for a pregnant police officer.  She is two months pregnant.

    He said the only choices for her are "remaining on the road" or an "unpaid leave of absence."   The police chief said that all the office positions like dispatch and archiving records take "specific training or certification."

    The police chief is reluctant to just put her in a job that would not provide anything meaningful like shredding paper.  Here is the link:  Link
