| Well, I started work today; so thats why I am doing a new xanga entry while i'm wating for this sample to incubate. One plus to doing research and being an undergrad is that there is a lot of waiting, thus, time for useless xanga entries.
I was in boston sat night - sun night; and I'm definately a fan of that city; it definately tops NYC. I would not mind going to grad school in that city for 5 years, but I wouldn't want to live there forever (There is no such thing as a red sox fan, just yankee haters....they even sell hats that have NH close together instead of NY...it stands for yankee haters). I slept in a coed frat sat night; that was different; i actually had to be careful going in and out of the bathroom and such, and breaking wind out loud was a faux pas.
I also went to illinois for a week right after school ended. I slept on a couch for 5 days, and it was extremely comfortable. Illinois is vastly different from NJ, but I enjoyed it. I had to buy a butterfly knife in Indiana, because they are illegal in NJ, and I'm not a fan of useless laws like that. I wish I had the sack to buy a BB gun modeled after a .357 magnum. I definately could've killed some squirrels with that.
Cooking for myself is different. I bought myself a ton of pasta, since I don't feel like cooking meat, and hey; taking a break from meat is good once in awhile. I don't think i'll get sick of pasta, just bored of it. Cooking isn't as bad as i thought it would be; i get full, and don't get stomach cramps like from the caf.
Tmrw I will be 20 and eleven months exactly; I guess that means I am getting old.
I read a book for pleasure for the first time in awhile. It was about a sniper in the vietnam; and he was the most badass person I have ever read about. So, when you people think the rapper you know is completely bad ass; I will have to disagree; I have utmost respect for the Marine Corps after reading that book. (Having the ability to hit a target a 1000 yards away with 1970s technology is impressive in my book.)
My body aches from walking around yesterday; I'm thinking our house should hire a full-time masseuse (heck, I'd even cook for her) | | |
| So, i'll be off of school May 9th and I'll be living at Rutgers for the
summer. Whats everyone's plans for summer fun? Let me know
what you are doing this summer, and be sure to visit me at some
point....i'll be subletting house with 12 guys in it.....and lots of
"events" will probably occur at some point. Well, leave me a
comment or two if you read this; I know its been forever since i've
updated, but no one uses myspace anymore, so I need to use xanga.
