| Attn: All SINGERS!
Are you a singer? Do you know someone who is?
We are looking for a rock singer who is dedicated, deeply passionate about music, and is easy-going and friendly. Must be open to various musical styles but the sound won't stray much from alternative and punk rock. A good sense of melody and the ability to write lyrics is a plus. Stage presence is also a big plus. We have no gender preference.
Open auditions (in a jam setting) will take place very soon, possibly this Saturday (January 29th), although you're welcome to audition at a later date if you can't make it.
Reply to this or talk to us on AIM at TheBlckTieAffair for more info if you're interested. If you know anyone else who might be then pass this message on.
Please note that this band, altough incredibly motived and dedicated, is very lighthearted and easy going (and downright silly at times ) so the overly dramatic, hard to get along with, and stuck-up need not bother.
Hope to jam with you soon! Much <3, -The BTA

| hey there, if you haven't yet heard, something unexpected happened last saturday: we PLAYED A SHOW!!! it was at stage 4 in verona with the sad lives of the hollywood lovers. altered heros, the my kill jacksons, bury me beautiful, and 8 bit tragedy. don't feel bad if you weren't there because it was a surprise even to us. we went to watch the show and ended up performing (for the first time in almost 3 months!). although it wasn't perfect, it could have been the best show that we've played in quite awhile and we got very excellent crowd response. thanks to everyone who was there who cheered for us. we were trying to lay low and we still kind of will be but the whole "surprise, we're back!!" show is out of the question.
so anyway, bta is most definately alive and well and will be returning to the stage and the forefront of your every thought in the coming months. new band member? perhaps. new record? you'll have to wait and see. playing any more shows any time soon? heh, you know it. really? yes. really? yup. really? mm hmm. when? doomsfest 2004, look for it around oct 29 or 30. and keep january 3 as the most important day in 2005 on your calenders, for it marks the beginning of our plan to take over the world. we'll be checking in again from time to time, look out for that.
