| I'm BAAAAaaaaack...So I'm back from the pits of hell...
Ok, so Basic wasn't really that bad... But yes, it did suck, and it was pretty much the worst six weeks of my life, but that's how it's supposed to be right? I made some awesome friends too. That tends to happen when you spend six weeks enduring the things we all went through together. Some good times were had indeed.
And now I'm in Tech School. It's basically like being in college, except it's the military version of college. It's fun really. I started class yesterday. My first class is only a six-day preliminary course, and upon completion of that I'll go down to Eglin AFB, FL. For now I'm still at Lackland AFB, TX, which is the same base where Basic Training takes place.
Gosh, I must be getting bad at this blogging thing, I can't think of anything else to say.

| WaitingIt's been a while. Guess I'll just give an update of life's adventures. I'm joining the Air Force. I guess that's really the only adventure. Just waiting around until April 22nd shows up, and then I'll be off to Lackland AFB in San Antonio for eight and a half weeks of Basic Military Training, and a six day Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) preliminary course. Then I go to Eglin AFB near Pensacola, FL for 27 weeks to finish out my EOD training. I'm pretty excited to say the least, though I can't say I'm excited about waiting so flipping long. Alas, I should try to enjoy my time left here rather than focus on the fact that I wish I were there.
I will hopefully be working at Starbucks again in the near future. Since my date isn't until April my old manager said she could probably bring me back on. I'm just waiting for her to call me and tell me when I can start.
I'm still working at Wright-Pat as a test subject. One of the facilities I work in was in the Business section of the Dayton Daily today, you should check it out, it's pretty cool.
So that's my life right now... just waiting...

| a good weekend with good friends.
i went to king's island on friday with a couple of guys. the new roller coaster is a amazing, by the way. saturday i slept a lot then got some stuff prepped for sunday, when i had a pool party at my house. fortunately there wasn't too much rain, and i think overall it was a large success.
rather refreshing to just spend time with friends hanging out and such. makes me happy.
