Holy Surprise Party, Batman!

Some of my coworkers, with the help of my sneaksy fiance, arranged to take me out for a surprise bachelorette party this past Friday evening.

Some photographic evidence:

From left to right: Me, Michele, Bradie and Sarah

The four of us perform "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" for an appreciative audience at the dueling piano bar.

The lovely cake that they made for me

Dancing like nobody's watching

There were a great deal of these consumed through the evening.

There will be more pics, and I'm even told that there's a video. The mind boggles.

I haven't watched Ghost Hunters in quite a while...I'd forgotten how compelling it is.

More Wedding Tomfoolery

We've started to get back the response cards from our wedding invites.

My favorite thus far is from my friend Johnathon at work.

Next to "Number Attending," he responded, "Two if I can get a date."

So, I posted this in the "Wedding Support Thread" on the board, but I figured I'd write it here, too, for those who don't visit the board...hopefully it will make you giggle like it did us

We went to Bed, Bath and Beyond yesterday to put stuff on our gift registry. There really isn't a lot that we need, so we're mostly putting stuff on like towels and sheets, things that you can always use more of. We did, however, consider some other items that we saw on our wanderings throughout the store...

Hair remover, so I don't look like Sasquatch in a bathing suit!

Martini Shaker, for when we need to get drunk because we can't stand each other anymore!

Nothing says romance like an oil rubbed toilet plunger!
