| my love for american series Argh, I am loving Ugly Betty by de day! Besides having Victoria Beckham, Eliza Dushku, VERA WANG, etc. Lately they have great episodes, guest starring Naomi Campbell and project runway winner, Christian Siriano, Gene Simmon, Larry King as well..
It's getting exciting and exciting each day.. Speaking of Project Runway, I totally forgot to blog about it for this season! Oh, just in case if you're wondering, I have not given up watching Lost and Desperate Housewives, in fact i just finished watching de latest episodes. Some people I know surrender watching Lost due to de sketip climax of de show.. muehehehehehehe. Still a big fan here, will definitely watch all seasons for my own record!
| of Movie & Vestby
I’m not gonna tell what it’s all about cos you just have to watch it yourself. And you know the drill, put Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher together in a movie; you’ll get your ticket worth for a romantic comedy! ‘What Happens in Vegas’ is definitely undeniably without a doubt a MUST WATCH! Download it! Buy a pirated DVD or something or book a ticket now! I guarantee you’ll love it! By and by and by de way, I couldn’t stand it any longer to wait for my next paycheck next week so what de hell; I decided to just withdraw my money to buy that lovely Vestby…It’s been going through my mind having it.. Remember Vestby? Ikea furniture have all these funny Swedish names you see.. It was dismantled when I bought it and you ought to assemble de damn wardrobe yourself. I was worried and wondered if I had to call de Ikea guys to assemble it for me. But that would be a waste of time and money and anticipating.. So without a lot of thinking I chose to amass de Vestby myself.
LOOK. Now just look at that! Clap your hands now cos I amassed it ALL BY MYSELF. Dragging it from de car and carrying up to my condo was a pain... It was big and heavy, it took me hours to screw de damn pieces together and damn tediously loads of work, I even accessorize de white clothe up with little frills and my Vatican City’s rosary .. Gonna fill de clothe up soon with more perks!
Prolly for you boys, it’s just a piece of cake, hell, with de petty instruction book on hand to refer, with all those little screws, bolts and nuts that I’ve never seen in my entire feminine life, nails and a hammer, it took me hours to assemble de damn thing in one piece..
I injured myself cos woodwork isn’t good for my hands, my nails are chipping off… but yet I am so proud of myself for doing something masculine and fruitful for de day..
| Ikea Vestby Yes, I get ridiculously excited over this petty bits that.. I need a major wardrobe closet makeover. My current one is seriously falling apart due to de excessive heavy attires that no longer can support de metal no more… Thus, I‘ve already got a favorites wardrobe I saw in Ikea.. I fell in love with it immediately…But I didn’t have de money to buy it yet, and I’m all keyed up waiting impatiently for my paycheck next next week .. Presenting de simple Ikea Vestby
This image is googled so you may not be impressed by de look of this closet. Wish I could take a snap to show y’all de best pic.. It’s fun, it gives a sense of trouble-free, it’s white and easy and I love it! Just de perfect closet for a girl like me. It neats up de space in my room too! Haha! Ahh… can’t wait to arrange my clothes all over again soon.. Urgh, my closet is just sad. Waking up looking at my precious clothes suffocating is just something I can't stand of..
| Graduation Exactly 4 years of Uni life took de toil on me. I used to complaint how some pissy lecturers can be such an ass at times, whining on de non-stop assignments and projects.. I have to say Mass Communication studies is truly de tedious one of all but of course the most exciting one too. I notice that media students see things differently than others do, because of de life and experience of de genres of every movies and documentaries that we have encountered.
We digged de deepest meaning inside each stories and how it is filmed. De articles, de text discussed towards de new age and de new media in de world we live in. Thus, de various people we met in different walks of life in de society. When we make documentary for them, it’s a way helping them to voice out their message across to larger audience. Unlike other boring subjects, media students aren’t taught in a common classroom based method, sitting down listening to de lecturers and leave. NO. I tell you it is way way different than that. It’s something you never experienced before. It’s not a place where you have to answer your lecturer when you have to, it’s more than that.

I notice de most quiet person in my class have became de most talkative one. It’s just a place where you unleash your ideas, a place where you learn new words and new terms and new things all over again. I notice that everyone in my class learn to write better and no offense to my coursemates who spoke broken English during de first time entering Uni, they surprisingly speak fluently now!
In Mass Communication studies, you will travel, see, and hear things you never came across before. And all de things that I have learnt in Communication studies are EVOLVE and CONNECTED in our everyday lives. No, it’s not where you have to be creative and create an ad to sell de products in order to add value to a company’s business. No, it’s not about ACTING and producing movies nor drama. It’s not about organizing events. But yes we do all that I have mentioned but it is just way beyond. There are reasons behind why our projects gave a big impact for our study lives instead of just pass em’ all through…
And now I am so glad that I am officially learned. Graduation night was one of de best event I attended. It was worth my money flying back from KL... I remember clearly where peer pressure strikes, it envied me when my friends are ahead of me and some have graduated. At de same time, it scared me when some are stuck behind imcomplete. Some quit uni and some got eliminated.. Some even have doubt on me by finishing Uni... sigh.. All i wanted to do in Uni was just focused highly on my studies and leaving myself alone cos I needed to juggle work and study at de same time.. It was tough, and it pays off. :)
| my happy sunday It was my second time visiting our country’s Taman Burung since my secondary days. I think some us should stop by and visit more of these crazy ass taman- tamans other than the shopping malls and clubs in KL.. I don’t know myself too sure about de clubs in KL.. I thought de clubs here are easily worn- out and tiring.
Anyway, it was particularly for my 1 year old nephew, I decided to bring him out for a little educational trip and adventure for him to de freakin’ Bird Park.
We had a long walk within the park and I was sweating like a pig. I like it though, it was good exercise. Hehe. Next Sunday --- Taman Bunga! WheEeEeEe!
Notice that 2 birdies makin' some Love.. How perfect it is when a police station happens to be right in front of de Stadium Merdeka, especially if you have a brother-in-law who involves in de country’s law enforcement. I can see the whole crowd in Stadium Merdeka from his 7th floor office.
This is actualy my second time. De 1st one I had was watching Jay Chou concert few months back. Im not a fan of him but having de opportunity to watch his performances for free is where some people would desperately dying to get so I considered myself lucky to have witnessed his performances.
By the way, the Celine Dion tickets were freakin’ expensive and correct me if I’m wrong, the cheapest ticket cost about RM 300++. That price is predominantly for the last seat zone, placing somewhere behind. We couldn’t even afford such pricey tickets so we could take de advantage watching de show from de special 7th floor... At least it was clear and could able to see de whole orb of the stadium. My bro in law’s office equipped with internet and Astro so besides watching the performance and listening to the real Celine Dion’s voice, I get to watch TV and chatting with my friends at de same time... My cousin from Doha got to listen to Celine’s singing from de webcam.
It was such a funny night, where everything was unsuspectingly accessible. The cops who works nearby are so lucky guarding the stadium cos at de same time they could enjoy the show.. Just minutes after that, my bro in law called to let us into the stadium for FREEEEEE! We sat at the Zone A seating which is de highest cost of RM 1000!!! The singing was hell phenomenal! Im not a big fan of jiwang songs but Celine Dion songs are all powerful.. They say her songs is one of the hardest one to sing and whenever the American Idol’s participants choose any of her songs, meaning they are willing to take the big risk cos Celine’s songs is a big challenge to impress the judges. Not only her songs, I have always liked Celine’s down to earth character, well- by judging from her interviews and also in Oprah shows...Unlike having that old fashioned diva attitude despite of her jiwang songs, she is one funky ol’ woman! Her witty facial expressions, her playful winks and smooches, she knew well how to bring herself up during the show and made everyone laughed and cheered.
J Not only I get to witnessed Celine’s performance, I saw de Timbalan Menteri, Najib and my favorite person of all times - Tun Dr. Mahathir. De night wasn’t entirely over after Celine Dion Concert; it came along a massive hullabaloo when Tun came out from de stadium. De fans up roared towards him, stepping up to shake his hands. A lady behind me went ‘ Tun! Tun! We love you Tun! Tun, you’re de Man!’
This Sunday night was never even planned in advance but I appreciate de moments which have took me by surprised. Numbers of infamous people in one night, how cool is that! Picutre of de day – my company trip to Melaka.
