John Yarmuth , who is running for the Kentucky Senate seat currently occupied by Anne Northrup, has this to say about abortion:

"“I am a member of the board of Planned Parenthood, an organization, which in Louisville, helps 5,000 families a year plan their pregnancies, and makes sure that children who are wanted are born, and those that aren’t, aren’t.
– WAVE 3 Candidate Debate, May 9, 2006" (italics mine)

Proudly denying human existence to those who aren't wanted -John Yarmuth for Congress 2006

Please be careful when you consider voting for such a person.

Thanks for the info Ben, I am glad to know that sort of stuff. BTW, have you met any of the people I have sent to Immanuel? Chris&Laura Glass, Tyler&Rachael Phillips, Jessica Cummins, Andrea Stocker, Tama Page? Just curious. I am hoping to get back for a visit in the VERY near future, hope to see you then.

For His Glory,
Carlton

Binker,

I have met the Glasses but the others don't ring a bell. I'll look out for them!

I loved his commercial saying that all Ann Northup does is have negative ads and doesn't say what she stands for, but his commercial didn't say what he stood for, and was only a negative ad about Ann Northup!

Thanks for that info. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, I don't know) since we don't live in KY, we can't vote in KY, which means we can't vote in that race. Wouldn't it make it so much easier if they just flat out said what they stood for and didn't mess with trying to trash someone else's image? But I fear that would not be the "American Way."

Ben you have no idea what trouble I am facing with my Christian school! I really have not had to deal with really "off course" theology, but this new Bible guy is really digging it deep into my calvanistic up-bringing. When he was our Science teach last year I had a hard enough timw timidly debating him, but now he is our Bible teacher! Have you ever heard of the Hierarchy of Scripture? Of course you have. Well anyway... It's so very new and iffy to me, and plus this paper that we we're suppose to read about the subject is obviously written by a dispensationalist. One of this man's points was,

"in the Gospels the Church was only predicted-- it had not yet been established when the Lord said "I will build My Church"(Mat.16:18)In the "gospel setting" an offer of the Kingdom of God on earth had been made to the Jewish people only, as we see in Mat.10:10:5-7. "These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them saying, do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritains; but rather to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. And as you go, preach to them saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."

And he also said that we shouldn't use the sermon on the Mount in whitnessing becuse of its unclarity to the Kingdom. This is all said so that we may remember "that when apparent doctrinal differences arise, we should resolve them by placing the teaching of the Gospels in a subordinate position to the Epistlesin the hierarchy of scripture."

And that was the lesson that day. Before this stuff it was dispute over sovreignty and election ("Rom.9 is a terrible back up for this belief" by the way.) And for a test we had to take, we had to draw and lable the time lines for each view of Eschatological schemes. If only you were here Ben. Oh well, it's character building I guess.

Anyway........... Call me at work Saturday morning, we're slow then, and I'll happily take your order! :)
