| Help!!!I promise, I tried to update a week or so ago, but after three tries without success I gave up. Things are going great for me. With just a few exceptions. One is that Tim's sister, Denise, is continuing to fail from cancer. She is back in the hospital after a blood clot hit her lung. Please pray for her. Love you all...I haven't fallen from the face of the earth...very far, anyway. QUESTION...

| Can't seem to understand it all...In the last few weeks, two ladies died.
One I knew well, the other not so much.
However, in both cases, I was not ready for it.
I am not one to ask God why He does things.
I may wonder, but my desire is to trust God for all things.

Well, guess what?
I actually got to hold her last week, and cradle her beautiful, perfectly-formed body.
How cool is that???
God never ceases to amaze me.

| The Holy Spirit and Some Weird Stuff...Ever heard the expression,
"When it rains it pours." In the past eight or nine months we've had several friends, old and new, experience circumstances that have shaken them to the core of their belief in Jesus. You know, the kind of stuff that is simply without explanation. One friend endured a misunderstanding that resulted in a horrible situation that's taxed the family almost beyond tolerance.
Another lady's husband began to carry on an affair with a younger co-worker, moved out, and has torn his family apart.
Another lady had surgery for a fractured hip in the spring, after a fall; now, before she has had time to recover from the first procedure, she has to have a breast removed on Tuesday due to cancer.
Yet one more lady is in the midst of a personal tragedy that's just beginning to unfold. However, the faithful, kind and gentle Holy Spirit has never changed. He is ever-present, and ever-good, powerful and just. "His mercy endureth forever."
I can trust Him, because He is trustworthy. QUESTION: What are you trusting for right now??? | | |
