| Update: When Bee's AttackSituation Update:
Well the day is almost over, as far as work goes, and I am about to head home. This would normally be a source of overall joy for me, especially since all I want to do right now is take a hot shower and go to sleep--my head is aching something fierce. But, alas the bee problem still persists.
Thanks to Kevin Wong and his selfless sacrifice my pad has been defended against the siege that threaten to overrun me yesterday. He bravely fought back the onslaught of the enemy and even managed to drive them back outdoors, where I am hoping they are staying at the very worst (the best being that Biola finally realized a swarm of bee's nesting in the ventilation of the apartment building is a bad idea).
However, I still have to deal with them flying at the window unmercifully battering the panes of glass trying to gain entrance.
More to come soon...

| When Bee's Attack This is my bedroom window. Those fuzzy flying things are bee's, they
are currently hitting the window trying to break into and attack me. In case you didn't figure it out, this makes me a little uncomfortable.

It's officialIt's official ladies and gents I will no longer be employed by Buena Park High School after this summer unless something drastic happens... Part of me is sad because I now have no job security and might have to resort to waitressing to pay my bills (thanks Kevin but it is still discouraging to take a step back like this) however, part of me is excited because this may be a chance to get hired at a Middle School and possibly in a English/Drama position. Please pray for me! I need patience and peace about all this as well as wisdom to make the right decisions and faith to keep on trusting and hoping in the plan God has for me. I love you all!
Ok big world of job searching... Here I come...
Think the CIA is hiring English teachers?

| Hazards at work…When I took a job teaching English at the local high school
I never thought of considering it as dangerous to my bodily health (sure I knew
there may be some mental injuries but in the long run I would be stronger for
the scars). However, today this belief
was shattered as I was trying to maneuver myself around students, desks,
projector screen and then my desk.
Anyway, long story short I did not succeed in my feat of gymnastic
braverism. While lecturing briefly on
the effects of psychological conditioning I maneuvered through the
classroom. The students and projector
screen were avoided with a deft twirl and duck motion that left the front row
staring in awe. The student desks were
bounded over with such ease that I am pretty sure I heard someone faint in
shock. And… that is when trouble reared
up to bite me in the leg with the painful reality of my desk being a bit larger
than I thought it was. As I landed
flawlessly from the last flip over a puny student desk and turned to scoot
through the small opening between cabinet and desk I realized my mistake. I had underestimated the size of the whole I
was scooting through and ended up nailing the side of my thigh against the corner
of the desk. Though I have not assessed
the damage to my leg as of yet, if the sharp pain radiating from it is any clue
surgery may be in order.
Anyway, the rest of the period nursing a severe ache in my
thigh that begged for attention—while maintaining a smooth face so that the students
did not catch on to my weakness.

| Good, bad and something...Monday I was told that I could move in as early as Friday to the apartment in the same complex as Garry, Kevin and Jeff. Tuesday I found out that I may not have a job come next year. What today will bring only God knows... Literally!!! Pray for me and my faith that God has a plan and will provide--at least that is what the Bible keeps telling me, and it is always right! | | |
