So, as most of you know, last Friday the last Harry Potter book was released. Being the massive Harry Potter fan that I am, I went half way across the city to go to the Scholastic release party.

We got there at 8 pm and stood in the line for almost an hour.

While we waited in line, I took pictures with this really cute married couple dressed up like Tonks and Lupin and some random man who was juggeling.

They had an entire street closed off for the "party". I met the American editor of the books, and watched his live interview on CNN.

After that, Kelly, Adwin and myself headed back to Brooklyn to go to the Barnes and Noble midnight release party. It was absolutely insane. I have never seen so many people in a bookstore. You literally had no room to move.
The only thing that would have made it a better weekend would have been being with my friends back home. This was the first time JP and I weren't "together" for a Harry Potter weekend. But, alas, I survived it alone! I say alone... Kent and JP were texting me the whole time... which is what we would do if we were all in Texas anyways, but, ya know!
I went to a comedy club type place tonight with Kelly and Adwin.

We had a good time. Adwin was the only black guy there... so, as you would guess, a good deal of the jokes were directed towards him. Kelly got hit on by some sleezy French comedian. One of the other guys was from Houston, so we kind of had a mini moment.
We sat in the subway for what seemed like an eternity observing the rats while we waited on our train. I took some pictures of them, but I haven't uploaded them yet. They were freaking huge... like... these rats could probably eat my foot, huge.
Oh, before I forget, I was "I Know Who Killed Me" this morning. I only went because Kelly and Adwin are like, negative HP fans and they still went to the midnight stuff with me, so I went to the shit movie with them. It hurts my soul to see movies that like. It -really- hurts my soul to spend 11 bucks seeing movies like that!
Okay. Enough for tonight. I'm tired. Miss you guys.
