          I feel like I've neglected xanga and need to post something out of guilt.  I'm at USC right now, and Im waiting for my next class to start in about 20 min.  Not much goin on! This morning I went to my discussion session, and I was the only one there! Kinda crazy, one on one, me vs. the TA! Thankfully a couple other students came a bit later to back me up otherwise things coulda gotten ugly.  School is pretty crazy, definitely a step up from PCC! I've started going to the campus crusade meetings which has been really cool, and I have a job on campus so Im making money, and eventually I wanna look into moving in here! But I been sayin that for a while so we'll see when it actually happens.

          Other than that, not much has been happening.  I went to Jimmy Eat World concert last week, totally stellar! Other recent highlights for me: getting a cookie from kathleen at bristol farms, devouring a heavenly reeses/oreo pie thingy that katy G made, playing some tackle football, dominating in fantasy football, going to a UCLA football game and tailgate party! That was totally killer! All you could eat ribs and other bbq, crazy awesome game where we defeated Cal! It was a great game!!! Good times!

          Ok. I feel like Ive fulfilled my obligations here.  Leave me some tasty comments. Call me sometimes, I get bored here in between classes. Yup. Good stuff. Peace out!

PS God bless all the firefighters working hard to save lives and houses. I was reading some stuff in the newspaper and it sounds very intense! Some of them have gone days without sleeping and transfer from one fire to another without a break in between.  I was just thinking about how scary it would be if it was by my house....

          Crazy times peoples! Crazy times!!! I dont even know if any one still gets on xanga or anything, but I feel like posting anyways! Summer is going by way to fast and there hasnt been many dull moments.  Two of my awesome friends that Ive known for a long time got married, to eachother (how crazy is that!?) and I got to be a groomsman person! It was pretty killer.  Good friends are moving away, old friends and new friends are visiting and leaving, good times followed by not so fun good byes.  Im getting ready for the fall semester at USC! Doing all there homework and transfer stuff so I can get started at my new school, putting up with their arrogant uncalled for Bruin hatred (I dunno how long Im gonna be able to stand it!).  I might start working on campus next week, maybe even in my dads office building place (that would be interesting).  Thats just some of what has been going on! Before school starts I wanna go to the X Games, the Vans Warped Tour again, a few more fishing trips, maybe go down to san diego, go to the beach alot, and all that good stuff.  Probably wont get to all of it!

          This last week I went on vacation to grassvalley in northern california with my family to visit my dads old friend from college.  This guy is old (he went to college with my dad!) but he is crazy! We had non stop action from morning to evening almost every day we were there! And we were there for like 10 days! He had a boat and we spend a couple days at a nearby lake wreaking havoc with the thing! He toed an inner tube to the back of the boat and made it his goal to trash me and stephen! It was so much fun! He went easier on peter and my mom.  My dad got into it to, but doug (thats th guys name) was scared he would hurt him or something. We were so sore afterwards! We also held onto a rope and tried riding a surf board behind the boat which was fun, adn then we tried water skies but that was kinda hard.  I think the record for the day on the skies was like 5 seconds or something. Ya we were pretty pathetic! Then we had a weenie roast on the lake and he let peter drive the boat home. LOL  He hit a booey, it was the funniest thing ever!!! that was all on one day just to give you a taste of how action packed the days were!!!

          We spent another day canoeing and kyaking and fishing on another lake, then went to a rodeo in the evening.  We didnt catch any fish, but it was still fun.  The rodeo was pretty crazy, it was my first rodeo.  Haha! They had sheep bucking or something like that for little kids like 5 yrs old and stuff, it was hilarious! They held onto the sheeps backs and they turned them loose and the last one still on won! It was pretty brutal for kids that age, and several of them got trampled but there were no serious injuries.  It was fun, bulls trashed cowboys, cowboys wrestled bull and so much more. Good times!

          Later on we went farther north, kinda close to oregon i think, to a place called Fort Bragg.  We went on a railroad ride through the mountains which was pretty amazing, I have pictures Ill post later if I get around to it.  We also took a day and went out on a boat and went rock cod fishing which was a definite highlight! The swells were insanely big, I think one almost went over the boat! People were puking out there guts and catching fish, pretty much awesome! We came back with a butt load of fish and had a monster fish fry and fish tacos the next day! It was sooo good!

         After Fort Bragg we went back to Dougs house in grassvalley (him and his wife came to Fort Bragg with us too) and went back to the lake and did more crazy things like that. We visited Sudders Mill, went minature golfing, did archery with his compound bows, all good stuff and I have some pics to show off.

          The highlight of the trip was by far our adventures on the Yubba river.  We went up with a couple canoes and the graves kyak that they let us borrow, and we took a trip 10 miles down stream.  It was so freakin awesome!  It wasnt crazy rapids or anything, but Peter and my Dad flipped over twice, gave us a good laugh! It was so clear and beautiful there! We could see fish, like tons of them, swimming under our boats.  Farther down stream Me and Peter started fishing cause theres supposed to be some pretty big fish in there.  It was so fun fishing out of the kyak! I would totally love doing that again if I can find a place to do it! I caught one, then Peter got into it and caught 4, and then I caught my fish of the year! It was an 18 inch steal head!!! The thing was a monster! I love fishing, it is probabaly my favorite hobby, so I was totally stoked to catch a fish like that!  We couldnt keep any of the fish we caught because of the stupid regulatons they had there and we didnt take a camera because we were affraid it would get wet so I dont have ay pictures of it or anything, but it was still totally amazing!

          So that was my crazy vacation!  Props if you read all that, I probably wouldnt of if I saw a post that long, but oh well.  Ill try and get some pics up sometime.

          Im done! Im officially done with jury duty, we finally reached a verdict: Guilty!!!  It was actually kinda of interesting. The charge was attempted murder, and so we sat there and listened to the attourneys argue and interogate witnesses.  They had video footage and pictures for evidence, and let me say, these attourneys were nothing like what you see on law and order or other tv shows.  One of them couldnt figure out how to get a dvd to play on her laptop for the life of her, and they studdered and stumbled over their words and stuff.  Sometimes the things they said or the questions they asked made me wanna laugh because it sounded so dumb.  Haha! The us jurors had some time to critique their performance in the jury room and it was pretty funny!  Anyways, thats all over with.  They said I could write a book about it or something about it, but I think I'll pass.

          It is definitely summer time!  Crazy hot outside!  Some of us went to the vans warped tour at the ventura fair grounds last saturday which was pretty crazy!!!  Got to see some crazy bands, get some free stuff, and just soak up all those happy sun rays! I got a killer burn because in my extreme smartness I decided not to put on sunscreen.  Live and learn.  Favorite bands that I saw: Anberlin, Boys Like Girls, Yellowcard, Play Radio Play, Bad Religion, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and probably a few more.  It was so crazy awesome! Back to back to back concerts at various stages all day! They had several different stages so you never had to wait for people to take down and set up after each show!  Pretty awesome! They are comming back in august sometime and I think I will try to hit that up again.

          Attention peoples!!!  If anyone is interested, we are going to go deep sea fishing within the next couple weeks!  Itll probably be around $50 a person, maybe more maybe less, and if we get enough people then we might even charter a boat!  Pretty crazy! If you are seriously interested then let me or my dad know sometime soon preferably.  Awesome! Have a killer summer! Drink lots of water! Wear sunscreen! Dont get up before 10 am! And Go to the beach alot!!!
