| TrevEchoes would like to congratulate itself on the selection of next year's staff. They are:
Editor in Chief: Scott Oldham
Campus Editor: Matt Short
Culture Editor: Jason Bradley
Sports Editor: Tim Shay
BackPage: Kit Young
Be sure to give each of these fine gentlemen a hug next time you see
them. They're about to learn all the joys of newspaper production.
On another note, how is one, if predisposed to procrastination, able to
stop? It's a never-ending cycle of "I won't procrastinate...next
assignment." Sigh.

| Happy Spring Break everyone. We here at TrevEchoes wish you a safe break.
Also, congratulations to those folks who were successfully elected to
ASB Positions. If TrevEchoes had official endorsed candidates, you guys
would have been the ones. To those who were less successful, don't
worry, life goes on, particularly in the form of newspaper and yearbook
editors (hint hint) and class council positions. I can understand the
intimidation of following such editors as Eric Johnson and Josh Shope,
whom none will be able to match, but you might come close.
Anyway, enjoy the break, be looking for the newspaper in the coming
weeks, along with a very special edition hitting stands in April. And,
TrevEchoes will be sponsoring at least one theological forum coming up,
perhaps two, so get ready for that!

| In order to utilize the plethora of individuals who visit this awesome xanga, that you should also consider applying for our Darda (yearbook) position. So, get on it. | | |
| Not sure if anyone even reads this anymore (you clearly aren't missing out if you don't), but just wanted to post and say hey.
Our 8th issue of the year comes out Wednesday, Feb 23rd, and it's going
to be a pretty cool issue, probably the best that I know of. Anyway,
make sure to check out the campus mysteries (Feature), the Oscar
special (Culture), and the MP3 discussion (Forum), along with the
always classic Campus and Sports sections. I would say read the
BackPage, but that's all you guys read anyway, so why worry.
No matter what certain editors say about Donnie Darko, it is still one
of the greatest films this editor has ever seen. I've yet to see the
Director's Cut, unfortunately, but I'm sure it is just as quality. I
know the Darkomentary is for sure.
If you have any passion at all for graphics, writing, layout, or an
awesome office and a super sweet scholarship, not to mention incredible
resume power, then you should apply to be the Editor next year. Eric,
our faithful editor in chief of two years, is having to graduate, so we
need someone to fill the shoes. Be sure to ask one of us about more
details. Even if you don't know much about running a newspaper, but
have a passion and are dedicated to the job, you could turn out to be a
fine editor afterall. So pick up that application, and get on it!
Notable Quote:
"As participators through the Sacraments and membership of the body of
Christ in the divine humanity, we now also begin to be capable of a
forgiveness on sufficient authority and without taint of rancour.
However, it remains our task to forgive and to go on receiving the
forgiveness of other human beings, since what God offers us is not his
negative forgiveness, but the positive possibility of intrahuman
reconcilation. God is already reconciled to us, but only when Queen
Matilda shows us once again the earthly paradise will we be reconciled
to God." --John Milbank
