I never update twice in one day but now I’m on a mission and need feedback from you guys. As you can tell by the text added to the top of the site, I am going to start asking around and gathering people’s views on the “pro-ana culture”. Most people would say that having a "tips and tricks" site makes me pro-ana but since I myself am not pro-ana it makes me wonder how many other people are accused of being pro but aren’t. I have a lot to say on the matter but it’s all useless unless I have both sides of the argument. I’m hoping people will actually reply with answers that are worth reading and not just some random comeback as if I’m attacking their views by not agreeing with them.

Here are a few questions to take into consideration if you’re having trouble getting your feelings into words.

  • What do you think it means to be pro-ana?
  • Do you think that pro-ana’s really have eating disorders?
  • Who is hurt/helped by pro-anorexia?

If you’re offended by what I say in one of my comments there’s a 90% chance that you took it differently than I meant it to be taken. Comment me either way.


I haven't updated in a good while but I guess of all the sites I could neglect, this would be the least bothersome to my readers (however few of you there are), considering the tips are still valid even if they’re old. I have a few for you guys that are pretty much the key to whatever success I've had towards getting back down to 90lbs by the 17th of this month.*

Note: I in no way feel that people should do anything dangerous, like what I’m doing, I’m merely posting what helped me. Whatever you do to you’re body is going to affect you, not me.

  1. Adderall: I do not want anyone getting pissy because they think I’m encouraging drug use on this one. I do not suggest it for anyone but if you’re already a pill popper and you have an eating disorder, it probably wont do you anymore harm than you already are with those diet pills, which are probably less affective and more expensive since adderall goes for like a dollar or two on the streets (varies on location of course)  
  2. Write a pro’s and con’s list: It’s amazing how much this helped me earlier. Just be honest with yourself and think of all the reasons why you should eat and then all the reasons you shouldn’t eat. So far I have four reasons why I should eat and twenty four as to why I shouldn’t. It’s impossible for me to think of more than like 5 reasons as to why I should eat. But you could probably think of more than that…
  3. Walk with someone who can keep you entertained: I’ve been walking with my dad lately, which is okay, I guess. He’s a man so he can suck it up and never show it if he wants to turn back, he doesn’t mind walking further because he wants us to be together, and since he likes to do things in an organized manner we always leave at the same time almost every night.
  4. Keep a journal of how you feel throughout the day: You’ll have a better understanding of how long your cravings last and will be better able to resist them and will be able to wait out the hunger because you’ll know how long you have to wait. It’s extremely helpful to maintain an empty stomach for as long as you can and document how you feel during the day. You’ll be able to look back and focus on the times that you were happy on an empty stomach and see shitty you feel if you eat.
  5. Write down every detail about how you feel after a binge: This one kind of goes with number four but since it's such a good tip I think it deserves its own number. So if you find yourself about to binge, or eat when (or what) you shouldn't be eating, you’ll find that reading a huge rant about how shitty you felt after your last binge will make that taco seem just as not worth the pain as it really is. Just remember how bloated your stomach felt and how it formed a million rolls when you leaned forward, remember the nausea you felt and how thinking about the food you had just eaten made you feel sick, the tears, the self-injury (if that’s also a problem with you), and how much you just wanted to die last time. Now think about eating that food and feeling like that again...not as hungry as you were before I bet.

 

There you go, five tips right there that have helped me accomplish the weight loss I've had so far during this thirteen day plan.

I'll try my hardest to not post repeats but I'm just an average girl so bare with me. I'll keep a list of the ten best tips that I have used. I hope that they help you all out and if you have anything to say leave a comment on this box.

 

  Top Ten Tips: 

  1. Tan: it burns 1200+ calories in a 50 minute session...just remember to put on sunblock
  2. Smoke a cigarette(at own risk)
  3. Sleep, if your asleep you aren't eating and you burn about 55 calories per hour
  4. Take some diet pills(at own risk)
  5. Drink some ice water
  6. Keep busy...there are a million other things that you would enjoy more and benefit from
  7. Never eat more than a cup, your stomach will expand and you'll need to eat more and more to fill it next time
  8. Write down everything you eat, it will disgust you
  9. Put food money in a jar and at the end of the month spend what's left on something inedible...the less you eat the more fun stuff you will get
  10. eat with your non dominate hand


1.      Spin in circles; burns calories induces nausea  

2.      Eat with your non dominant hand

3.      Weight yourself before and after eating

4.      Imagine everything you are eating is coated in butter, even the utensils

5.      chew gun while you cook for others so you won't sample

6.      put your food money in a jar and at the end of the month spend it on something inedible as a reward for everything you didn’t eat

7.      Never eat more than a cup, your stomach with expand and you will need more to fill it later

8.      Write down everything you eat, you will disgust yourself saying it aloud

9.      It takes twelve hours for your body to start feeding off its own fat

10.  try new food when you feel sick, it will create an irreversible connection in your mind with that food and sickness

11.  Eat in front of a mirror with nothing but tight underwear…you don’t want to add to that

12.  visualize yourself growing fatter with every bite

13.  Sleep, it burns 55 calories each hour you get and without it your metabolism slows down. Plus if your asleep your not eating

14.  Don’t put a lot on your plate, if you do, you’ll eat it

15.  drink ice water all day long

16.  curl up in a ball if your having hunger pains, it helps alleviate them and you’re rolls will make thoughts of food disappear

17.  Do something else, there are a zillion things you could enjoy and benefit from more that eating

18.  Having good posture burns calories, helps your back, and makes you look thinner

19.  buy clothes one size smaller, if your fat it will probably gross you out and keep you on track

20.  Spend a lot of time on pro-ana sites…it helps amazingly

21.  Wear perfect lip-gloss, it will make you eat carefully and this will make you stop faster

22.  clean something gross like the toilet

23.  pain your nails, then you cant reach for anything until they are dried without h ruining them

24.  make a thinspo notebook and fill it with pictures, quotes and tips

25.  feed someone else your food, like the dog

26.  study yourself in the mirror naked, you will look better it you don’t eat today

27.  watch fat people eat…gross

28.  go vegan

29.  if you go to a restaurant get something that you know you won't like but pretend it looks good in the menu

30.  brush your teeth very often, food tastes gross afterwards and you wont want to fuck up your clean teeth with food

31.  chew and spit

32.  keep thinspo with you at all times, in your wallet, in your back pocket wherever

33.  go for a walk to clear your head

34.  talk to an ‘ana buddy’

35.  join a challenge on ana websites

36.  Smoke a cigarette

37.  get all glammed up…food and glam don’t go together
