Today I found out my best friend in the third grade was arrested last week for grand theft auto, possession of meth and, upon police search,  two complete pipe bombs were discovered in his house. Ten years ago we were blowing up army men with firecrackers, now he's in jail for building something that can blow up people! Scary World!

It finally happened; I get the keys tomorrow and slowly move in over the week. Hooray!

The End of an Era

"Death of a Salesman" or used car salesman would be an appropriate title for this weblog entry. As of January 14, 2006 I am no longer chasing down people on the lot and dealing with fickle individuals who look at me like I'm a piece of slime. Though it was not the amazing, lucrative job it was built up to be, the experience I gained was invaluable. I also had a lot of fun at Carmax sometimes, but juggling a full schedule of classes during the week and around 20 hours of working on the weekends clearly was not going to work.

That is the only exciting bit of news. All is well and the issues I had over the break are happily resolved. Hopefully I will be out of the house soon, then things will really be looking up.

My first day went great! I think I did really well and my first customers were very easy to work with. One looked a little bit strange though!

Put a NASCAR hat on this man's head and he looks exactly like my first customer. Hopefully, I'll make the sell with him this weekend!

Remember the time I turned up the volume on my TV (Channel 16) while Jennifer was trying to talk on the phone?

As some of you know, I am now a used car salesman!!!!

I'm sure this image comes to mind when I say that, but really my dealership is more honest than any place out there. I make the same commission with every car on the lot and there is no haggling on the price. Its the perfect way to start in the business and I am very excited. I get an office, business cards, and everything!!!!!
