You know what's money??? Super Mario World on SNES..... I never fully appreciated the genius behind that game until now.  So many secret levels and hidden paths.  Wow.  Blows away Halo 2 by a million.  Frustrating at times when I can't beat a level, but worth the wait.  I wish I could find my SNES and play Street Fighter one more time.

So what's been going on USC?  Man , SC has been awesome so far.  The people on my floor are real chill and fun to be around.  Classes are going alright.  Playing ball once or twice a week has been a lot of fun too.

SC FOOTBALL: LEAVE NO DOUBT.

Trojans 49 - CSU 0 ... money.  Chan, Darren, and I had prime 6th row seats for the game on the 35 yard line courtesy of the Mak Daddy.  Thanks for hooking us up.  It was so hot, but worth it, goin crzy every 1st down/interception.

School wise - so much work.... seriously, pulled just about an all nighter this morning.   College is so much more fast pace, and who says in the semester system you can catch up?? No way, it's as bad as the quarter system, I say.

Good luck to everyone moving in this coming week, UCR, UCLA, UCSD.

Man, is it really worth it to spend all this time working in the end?  Is it?  This is an interesting story to read... in the end, it's all about spreading the Word.  Amen.   one last thing: happy 21st birthday to Stacey Lo!

The American businessman was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large Yellowfin tuna.

The American complimented the Mexican on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them. The Mexican replied only a little while. The American then asked why didn't he stay out longer and catch more fish? The Mexican said he had enough to support his family's immediate needs.

The American then asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

The Mexican fisherman said, "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siesta with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos. I have a full and busy life, senor."

The American scoffed, "I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing and with the proceeds buy a bigger boat, with the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats, eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor, eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then LA and eventually NYC where you will run your expanding enterprise."

The Mexican fisherman asked, "But senor, how long will this all take?"

To which the American replied, "15-20 years."

"But what then, senor?"

The American laughed and said, "That's the best part. When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions."

"Millions, senor? Then what?"

The American said, "Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take a siesta with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play your guitar with your amigos."

Well, labor day weekend was fun just kicking it back at home.  School is starting to pick up.  It's going to be a tough week academically this week.  SC has been a lot of fun so far, meeting people, balling it up.... espeically on Tuesday night, playing with the Ra's against the Hi Koi Jr. guys... enough said.  It's just been awesome meeting all these people.

Anyways, on a more serious note,  I learned this weekend that Mary Ning, a girl in my grade who attened FCBC-Walnut was killed in a car crash.  Another example of how fragile life is.  So I hope when you come to a crossroads and it's something that has no consequences, but you're hesitant.... just remember, "It's nike time, just do it."

School has started.... not good.  But on the otherhand, meeting all these new people has been an awesome experience.  Playin ball, kickin it, and wathcin tv with these guys and gals has been a lot of fun.  So school is a pain, but I'm really glad that I chose to attend USC over Gtown because of the felxibility it allows for me to come home.  Well, camp was a lot of fun needless to say.  It was so worth all the driving and everything.  I think this was probbably the most memorable/fun camp I have ever had.  Anyways, I'll hopefully try to update this thing more.  AA was tongiht and that really good.  I think I'll prob join that. It was really cool meeting everyone there.  Yay, one more day til the weekend.
