Well it's been forever since my last entry. Not that I haven't thought about posting more often but I'm usually no where near a computer at that time and am too tired/busy with other stuff by the time I am at one. However, given the new direction my life will be taking in the fall of this year I figured maybe I would start up again.

So my big new as of late, I GOT INTO GRAD SCHOOL AT NYU. So after almost three years out of school, roaming a bit around the country and through different jobs, I'm going back to school to get my M.A. in Dance Education. I'm super excited, one because the program at NYU is awesome and completely fits with what I want to do with teaching and where I think dance education needs to go in the future and two, I'll be living in NYC for two years. (Well maybe not the full two my program has a summer abroad in Italy, which I will probably try to do) Of course, I don't know yet when classes start, where exactly I'll be living or how I"m going to pay for all of it, but I figure that's what the next few months are for.

Well I know I could go on but hopefully I'll actually start writing more again so I don't need to catch up on everything going on in my life right now.

Congrats. New York's a fun city, for sure. Of course, all that fun comes at a price. (and a damn steep price, too). But that sounds like fun. Maybe I'll make it back there and visit. Of course, when I'm back there, you'll probably be back in the midwest. But we'll see.

Oh. And, I should mention, that we discovered a game awhile ago that is just as fun as the mostly empty water bottle tossing. It requires more equipment, though. You need to steal a bunch of those coasters from a place like Chili's. You know, the thicker kinda cardboard-ish ones. And then you go sit on someone's couch underneath a ceiling fan. And you throw the coasters frisbee-style at the spinning ceiling fan. great fun for all. It'd probably be even more fun if there was a cat involved (chasing the coasters, not being thrown at the fan, though that might be interesting also.)
