Day 1

Late start led to a rough day from the scheduling standpoint. As a result, the station leaders were rushed and probably didn't get to finish all their points. =( But, I know kids were talking about the stuff they learned! =) Yay!

Checkout at the end was a mess even though we tried to be organized. Tomorrow we will try again with a few changes.

I didn't get enough pictures of the stations... we got a lot of Sing and Play pictures though. Alex is the dancing machine.

Quick update about VBS. (it's late right now and I will edit some tomorrow morning)

Praise: Many people have volunteered to help with VBS! More still needed!
Prayer: More volunteers for VBS. Also, continue to pray for 100 kids to register!

Prayer meetings are Friday 7:30 in GEL room

Two training meetings: 7/03 @ 12:30 and 7/10 @ 12:30.

We are praying for 100 kids for VBS this year. Please keep this in your prayers! As a result, we will need 15-16 crew leaders. We have 8 currently. Also, we need a sound person and 1-2 photographers.

Welcome to PCAC's 2005 VBS Xanga!

Theme for 2005: Serengeti Trek, a safari-style adventure
When: July 25th-29th

We are in need of volunteers to help as either station leaders or crew leaders. Station leaders will be in charge of skits, activities, and lessons for the children during the day. Crew leaders will be in charge of a group of children for the week.

Goals for this site:
Provide updates on the planning process and volunteer statuses.
Provide prayer requests for VBS
Provide pictures and comments for each day of VBS as it happens
Provide an accessible central location for VBS information
