| well today was actually a pretty good time.
amy drove her and i up to grandmas. we were there for a bit and then i drove us over to walmart. bought some stuff. then i drove us to aunt lynn's. that was actually not bad. we were there for a long time. mill and her people arrived. ugh, kill me now. that woman, sheesh. i cant take her. so we left and i drove us back to grandmas. then i drove amy and i back home and we went through the drivers test course. parallel parked. didnt go that bad, actually. still not ready for the test, though.
mummy's decided to tear up the kitchen floor. and it turns out the hardwood is only under about half of the floor. so we need shoes to walk in the kitchen. great.
at walmart, i bought some skincare stuff. hopefully this stuff on my chin starts to go away. its really bothering me.
im going to watch hairspray with drew.
wow, LJ.

| so the audition came and went.
9am till ~1130am
it was actually really fun. it was a really good experience. i was afraid everyone there was going to be so stuck up and bitchy. but they werent. they were nice people. real people. the auditioners were nice too. it was a very good, free flowing atmosphere. it felt more like a class than an audition.
the thing they kept saying was basically: take this experience for what it is, not what it could be. which i basically understand as that getting in will either happen or it wont, but just be loose and have the best time possible and take as much from this experience as you can as far as learning goes.
as to whether or not i got in, i suppose only time will tell. its really quite up in the air. ive probably never been as unsure about how to evaluate my performance. they only take 20 from the entire state. and there were 19 in the group that auditioned with me at 9am. there was a 1 pm group after us
there are 9am and 1pm sessions at 2 of the 3 other sites. the one site only has 1 session
my mom was trying to do the math to find the odds.
i dunno, but im pretty sure they said they take 5 from each site.
either way, id rather not think about that its out of my hands now. i think i did the best i couldve done, but whos to say for sure?
all i know is: after worrying so much about it and telling over 5 people about the audition, im gonna feel like an ass if i dont get in.

| NHS thing was actually pretty fun. except for the bit of drama afterwards with laura and zac, but i suppose its usually there, so no big deal. theyre both great so its rough when that happens because theres no side-taking. weird thing to maneuver. "Kids today.... holy shit." hahah well, i had a good time.
"shes gonna need a new hip by the time shes 20!"
