| Well why don't we start from the top shall we? Through the existentialist mindset that tells us that we are nothing and are all alone on this little rock we call planet earth, we get people who tell us we are shit. From the happy go lucky town of Rose Coloured Glasses, we get people who tell us that all is fine and dandy. The reality is somewhere in the middle, somewhere hovering between complacency and all out action, between love and hate, between peace and war. Realism has gone to pot in the most literal sense, and the Illusionists, the ones who believe life is just a dream, they've gotten a foothold. Because, if life is a dream, can't we do what we want without fear of retribution? Can't we ransack the library of the Mind at our leisure? Shouldn't we be able to poison the well of Thought with the Mediocrity serum that we sip every time we turn on the television?
The answer is NO
