Today I wrote a paper in school today about a topic I feel strongly about.  I printed out an extra copy so I could post it on here and voice my opinion.  I think I make a lot of sense in it and felt like sharing it with others, so enjoy!


Question:

A.  History is better understood by reading primary sources than by reading textbooks.


     For me, at least, this topic makes me think of The Bible.  For centuries, the bible has been regarded as 'God's word's' or what he feels what we as humans should do.  The thing is, over the years mankind has re-written this book (if it ever even existed) so that they could put their own opinions, thoughts, and outlook on the world and that way people would follow it and say this is the work of god, you have to believe it.  Instead of reading new revised bibles, where is the one primary source?  The ONE book that 'he/she' wrote?  Why should we believe a book that mankind has tampered with?  How could we know what God has said and what mankind has added, or taken out?  We don't.  I'm sure they are very common and have the same idea, but it's been re-written with bias now.

     This is a great example, to me, of the 'primary source vs. textbooks'.  Textbooks are revised, sure, but the primary source can be as well; unless you tamper with it.  The primary source of an article, book, etc may have the same idea as the textbook, but of course some revision is probably there.  All writing also has some bias to it, whether it would be fiction or non-fiction, the the scale is always tipped that way.  In a way, this is why I haven't even read the Bible.  How do I know that it's an original source from god him/herself?  Or more importantly, how do I know If thing have been added or taken out?  I can grasp the idea of God and I have my own belief in him/her.  I do not need a silly book that has been tainted by God knows who or what to tell me what to believe in and what not to.

Hmm..  It still shocks me how people still lie and cheat over a silly game.  So.. let's take a look, shall we?



First:   Let's look at the bot who has been banned from IsLaDeMuerta Pledge, and probably from Protoss.  Not to mention, StaryNight and Moonmist have killed this idiot.





After I found him and called monitor, we got to know each other!





Can someone tell me when I said he was level 51?  btw, he asked what does level 51 and being legit have to do with him?  Um, obviously nothing since he won't ever be legit. 


So after that little fight, I take a stroll down there again and see if he's there.  and omg what a surprise, he is!  This time he must be sleeping because I'm cancelling him and he just auto-buffs back and continues hunting.  Well tonight after following him for a few minutes, he just stops and pumps pots;  that's my cue!    And the result .......
