Sorry Albert that you can't see yours yet, unless you somehow got it from your old house. You should seriously drive down there once and pick up your mail. Well anyways, my AP scores:

US History: 4
English: 3
Calculus AB: 4
Statistics: 4

I am so surprised about my Calculus score. And moderately surprised about my US History score. English was a toss up. And if I didn't get a 4 for Stats, I would have been like, "This pineapple fights for his friends!"

Saturday, July 05, 2008

Seems like everybody is blogging today so I guess I will too.
Quick update: Let's see, I got the straight A's that I wanted. I guess that makes up for my okay Subject Test scores. Got a 690 for US History a 680 for Math 2 and I think a 610 in Biology. Got a little job as a tutor at San Gabriel Middle School. I only work like 3 more weeks though or until summer school ends. Roughly four hours a day at $9.20 an hour. After that job ends, I might try to find another job.

I need to find more things to do. And people, stop being so emo!

Happy Birthday Jason and Tony!

Sorry I missed your thing on Saturday. Camping wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. I was a little late though, but I didn't miss anything. Oh, and there was this 7th grade girl taking the test in my room. 7th! The test felt shorter than I expected. It was still pretty long though. The math part felt quite easy, but the reading and writing parts were really iffy to me. There was one passage that I didn't get at all. Oh crap, I wasn't supposed to talk about the test until 48 hours after. Man that's a stupid rule.
Later on, went to Danny's house with Manny, Adley, and Brittany to watch Ocean's Thirteen. It was a darn good movie. Now I have to watch Ocean's Eleven.

Today, I attempted to make my own chicken noodle soup. Was better than I expected. The soup was sorta too light tasting though. Next time it will be better. Other than that, today has been a slow day.

Oh, and this week is the week I have four badminton games I think. Let's see if I'm ready. I'm not sore anymore so I should be able to hit better.

And props to you Jason. Very nice little(big) comic strip.

One more thing, if you have anything to say, say it to my goddamn face, cause that's how you stop problems from getting out of hand.

Whew!

Well I just finished all the homework that's due tomorrow. I still have plenty of history to do though, but that's not due until Tuesday. Also adding to the things I have to do, I still have to finish my speech for Acadec. The first school meeting is tomorrow and I should have more of my speech. I'll work more on that tonight and I'll try my best to get my history done today as well, but I also want to play some more Paper Mario. It's great!
First week of school was all right. A lot more work than I wanted for the first week, but might as well get used to it now. My mind is still sort of in summer mode. I also have this great ecstasy feeling. Don't know why exactly, but it's making school seem less stressful. Maybe I won't drop Journalism. I should see how it is; we have a new advisor so I don't really like the changes.
I will now rate my classes (yes, I am copying Jason. I can do that though.)

0. Stats (3.5/5) - Ups: Like the work so far. Not a lot of people in the class. Downs: I have to wake up early.

1. English (3.5/5) - Ups: Teacher isn't mean. There are lots of people I know. Work is do-able. Downs: A lot of work (this is the only class that gave homework every single day so far.)

2. US History (3.5/5) - Ups: Teacher likes to joke around. History has always been interesting. Downs: a ton of work and reading.

3. Physiology (4.5/5) - Ups: Teacher is fun. And work seems very easy. Downs: Class seems to be moving slow. Teacher gets distracted easily.

4. Lab Assistant (4/5) [Would be 5 if I would finally be labbing for Bolen.] - Ups: Easy, easy, easy. Downs: Department head is too slow in assigning me to lab for somebody.

5. Ceramics (3.5/5) - Ups: Works seems very easy. Looking forward to making something. Downs: I don't have many people to talk to in there. Won't start working for a while.

6. Calculus (5/5) - Ups: BOLEN! Fun class. Have plenty of friends here. Work seems do-able so far. Teacher doesn't waste too much time. Downs: Other than the people who talk A LOT, nothing.

7. Journalism (3/5) - Ups: New possibilities with new advisor. Class is 90% girls. Downs: New advisor (He has gigantic shoes to fill and he will not be able to fill them by the time I graduate.) Class IS 90% GIRLS.

My Registration

So I had my registration today at 10:45. Because of how well and quickly my last two registrations were, I assumed that this one was going to be just the same. Oh how wrong I was. I went to the first station (the one for fines and books) and what do I see? This long-ass line. For some reason it took five minutes for every book being turned in. Long story short, I finish that station in a little less than three hours (a station that only took me 15 seconds to get past). All the other stations were okay until the last one. It was the station were you take your ID pictures. This was the second longest line I was in today. The stupid students working the camera kept messing around, thus the long line. I want roughly one hour and thirty minutes of my life back. All in all, five hours at registration was all right. Didn't exactly get all the classes I wanted (there was no Physics AP!) but it's still a nice schedule. Guess what I am going to do now? That's right.

                                                    00: Statistics AP - Llamas
01: Junior English Seminar AP - Stanley
02: US History AP - Dachpian
03: Physiology 1 - Luiten
04: Lab Assistant (For Bolen) - Heinrich
05: Ceramics 1 - d'Almaida
06: Calculus AB AP - Bolen
07: Journalism - Weller

Eight periods will be a challenge because I like to sleep late.

A Year and Two Days

As my headline says, it's been a year and two days since I posted in my blog. It seems that people still happen to use it, so I figured, "What the heck." Just like Albert, looking back, I would be embarrassed at the way I typed; It's funny nonetheless. So I've been reading through people's blogs and such. People have a lot to say and I encourage that. Maybe I should be telling about my day in great detail. the thing is, however, my days have been slow so to speak. Alright then, I should be doing some real blogging right now.

Well, it's been a while since I have had a day just to hang out with the old guys; the old guys being from Madrid. They know who they are. It hasn't been just us for a while and I need my share of just sausages. But people change interests and I guess I can't really do anything about that. On another note, some of my good senior friends (including my sister) are moving away to go to college and some are just going to college and getting jobs and such. These guys are a big reason why I am who I am today. I'm going to miss all our antics and all the fun we had. Yes, it is going to be different and I will make the best of it. I still have my junior soon to be senior friends, and my sophomore soon to be junior friends, and Ken (haha, he's the only freshman soon to be sophomore). This is going to be my first year of high school without my older sister. This means I have to do things on my own and make my own decisions. I am going to miss the hell out of those who are leaving. Then again I will see them again in like Thanksgiving and other major holidays. I see my sister much more frequently though since UCLA is like right there. And Manny; he's a working student, and I have a lot of respect for that. Actually, I am probably going to see Manny more.

One more thing. If you don't mind an insane amount of vulgarity and know a little sex lingo, then go watch Superbad. It's finger, McLovin good.
