WWHRD?

Nothing too much has been going with me recently. I finally got to see Juno. Which was Awesome, met my expectations and I was Satisfied with it. Very cool. I have a Ton of Stuff I need to do before the end of the year, which is funny because it’s tomorrow… I have to Get a new tag on my Car, redo my Car insurance form, Re-enroll in school, Turn in all my Military Benefits paperwork. I got help this morning scraping off my car in the parking lot by a Retired Navy Senior Chief. He is a really cool guy, I see him around the complex A lot, and he used to be a Diver for the Navy. Our Apartment is a HORRIBLE mess, and it needs to be cleaned by tonight, but I don’t think we have the time to do so. I have Band practice after work Till 6 then I believe I have to babysit till 10. So yeah Suck, our dishes are just piling and it’s just awful. Then Monday I HAVE to get a new tag on my car or else I can’t get in the Base, but my dad has to do it because of the Tags and I’m not on the Cars registrations, which I should be I don’t know why I’m not.

This Thursday The Convention Starts. I’m really excited. I’m finishing BESM today, I hope all goes well. We’re playing for 12 hours straight for 2 days. So that’s going to take a lot out of me. I hope it runs well and I don’t get upset due to the pressure of being forced to play a game and people expecting it to be good within a Two day span, that’s a lot of pressure to get from 6 People. I’m the Game Master, Caitlynn is a Cat Girl, Bash is a Pirate, Double B is a Ninja, Jon is a Psychic Pimp, Zack is a Nanotech Hacker, Liz is like a Ghost Thief, Pat is a Dragon Rider, Caleb is a Roman Archer, and Shawn Is a Pokémon trainer. I’m also Running Ghostbusters which is abound to be pretty awesome too, everyone gets to make their own character or Choose from the originals. That reminds me, I have to ask for Sunday off. 

RPG’s Rule, they do. I’ve made a slew of Boss Characters for all of our Games and I’m really getting into writing Shadow run I have a TON of awesome Idea’s that just keep coming. But I seriously need to get less of my Mind off Of RPGs and focus it back on Music. It doesn’t look like I’ll get the Almost Infamous Albums done this Break, which Sucks. They should have been done a Long time ago. And I also need to Finish the Current almost Infamous Albums I’m on, I just Need to sit Down for a Weekend and just clear my head and listen to the inner Almost Infamous. I’ve been thinking about Burning a CD with All the Playlists I keep on my computer and forcing my Self To Listen to it constantly until those songs just mesh in my Head and I can Finally Write them without being disappointed. I have to go back to school in 2 Weeks, what a Drag huh?

There are some serious Priorities I need to think over in my Life, and just seriously get things right, in just kind of dragging along in life.

Christmas with the Ganks

So yeah I’ll give you the Christmas Update this year! I got a Ton of posters, which is what I asked for. A Monty Python one, Transformers, Hard Candy, snakes on a Plane, Both Grindhouse features, and a couple more. I got a few more than that, also a ton of tools, seriously like 3 sets of tools. Oddly enough I didn’t get any movies either. But yeah all the posters are awesome. My mom Even had a poster made for almost Infamous so that was a sweet deal. I had a blast with the family this year, they are a joy to get along with, I guess it’s because I don’t live there anymore and they like seeing me more or something. But yeah I got off work a bit early and spent the day with my Family. Merry Christmas!

So I’m really pumped for this Mini RPG event were doing. Here let me explain the back-story. Around Late November Bash got the notice that white wolf was hosting GLARE which we thought was an all table top RPG event. Well Turns out it was a Camerila Event and we found out when we were about to RSVP, and we hate LARPing, so Bash got piss and Double B suggested we just have our own thing. So me and Double B Developed out own way to do stuff. We have a few RPG stuff to try out. On the 3^rd we’re gonna make all our characters and get everything together for it we’re playing 4 games maybe more if the others want to actively do something. But so Far it’s Ghostbusters(Me), Iron Kingdoms (Bash), Star wars (double B), and anyone who wants to throw a game in can. And then the big Game is BESM that everyone is going to be a Part of. It’s going to be 3 days of awesome. I gotta ask for the last day off which is tricky cause it’s a Sunday.

Camp Dangerwood: Dare to fakebelive

First show with the New Band. It rocked. Totally awesome. Camp Dangerwood is Gonna go places. We only have one song and we played a show, so that’s kind of weird, and it’s a cover at that. But still it was really awesome, the crowd really got into it. I love my job in that band, bass + Keys + Background vocals + a whole lot of rocking. Man I love being able to rock and not having to sing the whole time. But Don’t get me wrong, I still love The Almost Infamous with all my heart, I’m working my best to get the album out, actually both of them, ASAP. I’ve just been really busy. Work, School, RPG’s. I’ve had no time for music, and I’d really like to make time for that, seriously recording for almost infamous, Writing for almost infamous and Camp Dangerwood. I Figure that me and whoever my soul mate out there haven’t’ met yet because we’re just too busy working hard. I’d like to think that.

So anyways, drinking, onto that topic. If you’re gonna have a drinking party, don’t have a theme to it, it won’t work out people just kind of do their own thing. I like movie and Game nights everyone is sober and can keep their attention on one thing. I’ve never been drunk so I guess I don’t understand the fun in it. I thought it used to be because we were young, and people did it to be like “Take this parents!” but now we don’t have to be rebellious we live on our own. But it still happens. Like its some crutch, wash all our troubles away with Liquor. Maybe my life doesn’t suck as bad as everyone’s I don’t know. But then again it does liven up the atmosphere and I’ve met cool people because of parties, and people are just more honest while drinking. Like the Second week I knew my Friend Wayne (Wayne is 55 BTW) we were at the Wing wide party, and everyone there was smashed (Except me of course), and Wayne was Hilarious, he Pants’d the General, that was pretty Hilarious. So I guess the attention span thing is annoying, but the social looseness it brings makes up for it.

But as for good times, last night, after the show I took the band to Dairy Queen. That ruled, that was good times, we were just hanging out joking around, laughing, and talking about how much the night rocked, and everyone was funny, and there were no curse words, no (really) dirty jokes, and it was just you know, kind of innocent, and lighthearted. I miss things like that, I might be the oldest in the band, but I really feel like we have this really awesome connection.

Last Friday we did a huge server move. We Moved all of our servers from the 184 NCC to the NOSS floor. It took 12 hours. It was totally sweet, certainly an experience, that I don’t think I want to experience again, but just one that was really good to have. SMSgt Norris (Brian) was running around screaming he was Batman, which was kind of funny and weird. He’s a really awesome Boss, I’m sad that we only get to keep him for awhile, then we Get Chief Brotsky, who is still pretty Cool.

I’m way to freaking Excited, Monty Are I is Currently Writing for their new album that is way too awesome. I hope it rocks more than Wall of people, which is expecting a lot from them, but seriously, I’m crossing my fingers and knocking on wood for this one. I dropped my first official class, my English Comp 2. I just could not stand the teacher and his views on English, I’m going to attempt to get my old English teacher next semester, I really don’t care what I have to sacrifice to get it either, because I know she won’t be exclusively opinionated to my writing because she wasn’t in English comp 1. So it feels good to get that off my shoulders, I still have some beef with the whole tuition assistance thing, and my VA benefits, but I’m slowly working those out.

I’ve been rocking to a ton of music lately, which is pretty awesome, since we can listen to pretty much whatever we want, and my music at home is always running as well, my “Best playlist ever” is about 1200 songs, that pretty awesome, but it lasts 73 hours so yeah, it’s pretty long. I recently got Mario Galaxies and I’m currently on my way to owning that game in the face, and let’s just say I’m doing a pretty good job for a guy who doesn’t play a whole lot of video games. I have a Bunch of homework to do this 3 day weekend, but I’ll get around to it, I have a Test to complete as well as a few homework assignments, and I gotta do Ganakajank testing as well as Ripping DVDs and getting ready for next week since I only work 3 days, man that’s gonna rule. But this weekend I have to call everyone who has said yes or maybe and I have to ask them to check the page, give my $5 for the party, and what character they want for MUGEN which I plan on doing a full day of programming for on Wednesday. And Thursday, THANKS effing GIVING… yeah I’m excited; Jon is eating with us again this year, which rules. And then afterwards we’re playing our first game of Oxford in what I believe is a month and a Half, and it’s going to rule beyond RPG Comprehension. This winter Is awesome for RPG’s, were getting started on Brian’s Vampire Game finally, then we’re Starting on the BESM as soon as winter Break starts, a  hopefully 6 Part campaign. Then this winter, were going to be doing as Much Oxford as Possible. I want Oxfords Finally to be right before Spring break, or during, then I start on my 2 Big Projects, Ghostbusters and what might be the last Chapter of Decadence.

Well I’ve had too much to say for too long. I think I should update more often. It’s not like anyone reads ALL of this, it’s more of a document for me.

Camp Dangerwood: In Danger

Alright here’s the Skinny (Shawn brought it back, isn’t it awesome?). Well I was going to hit the Studio with Brandon today but before I left to go I got a call from Nathan drummer for the band previously known as “The What?!” and he said that both our Guitar players signed us up for the Middle School talent show, and that try outs are Thursday… SHAZBOT! Well I want to make it but we’ve never had a full practice until today, and it seems we’re having practice every day until the day, and we’re just going to send in a video tape of us performing. And the Talent show is on the 7^Th.  So yeah not much time. Good thing is that we only have land one song, and Today we practiced for a doo 3 hours and got our Paramore song nailed down pretty good, it still needs a lot of work but it’s good enough to suffice and if that’s all we play till the 7^th then we should be in the excellent. Oh yeah we took a vote today, we Are now Officially “Camp Dangerwood”.

In other news, Went to Saw IV last night. Not the Best. Very confusing. It was Cool and it was still a decent movie, it was just way too wishy washy will all the new characters and left to much stuff open.
