| HollandGod created the earth, and the Dutch created The Netherlands! That is what they say here, because they have taken land back from the sea over periods of time. It is amazing here! Everyone speaks at least four languages and we have breakfast, tea, lunch, tea and dinner. You are never hungry. Yesterday we went on a boat ride and my father helped hoist the sails. It is chilly and now everyone has the sniffles or a cough. I just wish my mom could be with us. I have been taking lots of pictures so do not worry about getting a full update when I get back. Today we are going to take a walk in the woods and stay indoors most of the time because it is rainy and cold. But boy is it cozy inside!! The house we are staying in is very beautiful and about 400 years old. Tomorrow is my father's defense and we all have butterflies in our stomachs! Right now it is about 11:00 am. So it is late afternoon over there in the U.S. Well...i would post some icons but I feel kinda bad using their computer for too long. I hope this isn't a terribly long xanga update. I love you guys! oh and for the ones who live in texas, please check on my mom now and then. My aunt is taking care of her so if you could just sometimes call to make sure she's ok.
