Name: Sheila Country: United States State: Mississippi Metro: Jackson Birthday: 11/18/1972 Gender: Female
Interests: Opera is slowly becoming an obsession for me, especially after discovering that I'm pretty good at it. I spend a great deal of time reading non-fictionals in one of the local bookstores. I enjoy playing golf, ... although I would not consider what I do on the course as actual PLAYING. And I absolutely LOVE animals. I think animals have perfect souls and are the epitome of honesty, sincerity and undying love when BEING loved. Expertise: Opera, classical music, gospel music, alternative music, hip-hop music, music, music, ... and, oh, ... did I mention music?

| I'm so sick and tired of being broke. School is right around the corner, and I don't even have the money to buy all the school supplies (i.e., posters, bulletin board items, etc.) to fix up my classroom with. This in-between period right before starting a new job feels like some kind of financial hazing session, where you're left to experience extreme levels of 'broke-ness' before you can finally relish in the joy of having a full-time salary coming in. It wouldn't be so bad if this time wasn't worst than all the other times. Let's not even mention Grad School, which is another headache in itself. The pin number I'm supposed to use to register my classes doesn't even work. Oh well ...
I didn't get to meet the 'pretty-boy' last weekend. He seemed to dart in and dart out. But I got his message in which he apologized for not being able to meet up while down here. He said he loved visiting Mississippi and will try to come back in the future. Forget that. I'm going up THERE!! Besides, The Met NEEDS me.
| Um,... okay, like, ... I can't think right now. I just got a message from that guy, Taimak Guarriello ... yeah, THAT guy, right there ...
He said he will be in Mississippi this weekend. He's one of the "fitness reps" for the Miss Mississippi pageant. I don't know what that means, and I don't really care. I just gotta work on some mojo to finally get a chance to meet this guy. So, um, ... I'll holla back later.
| Hey, Xanga peeps! Sorry I've been away for a minute. I've been very busy going through this certification-training-workshop-program thingy for the public school system. It's exactly three weeks, everyday, from 8am to 3:30pm. I'm learning a lot about lesson plans, state curriculum frameworks, classroom rules and procedures, and anything else regarding becoming a Highly Qualified Teacher. Though the program is only three weeks, there is still an enormous amount of information I have to learn in a VERY short amount of time. So, all the homework and assignments have become more and more overwhelming. Therefore, keep me in your prayers. By the way, ... came across this little barrel of hysteria from a young lady on Taimak's message board. I guess age really DOESN'T matter ...

| This is turning into the absolute craziest summer for me. For starters, I have finally decided to take the job offer of a middle school here in the local public school district. They were the first ones to call me, ultimately beating out the high school (which I found rather unprofessional anyway). I'm excited about the new job, yet very nervous as I've never been a Choral Director before. Middle Schoolers are hyper, so I'll simply have to keep a can of whoopazz on me at all times. Here's the irony: One of the Assistant Principals from the high school (the unprofessional one) has now been made the Principal of the middle school in which I will begin working at this Fall. How's that for coincidence? He said, "You have no idea how happy I am that you are going to be our new Choral Director. I'm just tickled pink that I get to work with you after all. Everybody's been fighting over you all this time because we all just love you to death." We'll certainly find out how true that is once the Fall begins. My love life is just plain ol' weird. I have three guys I'm juggling at the present. But the MAIN ONE I've liked for the past few months came on to me so hard earlier this week, it almost scared me to death. This guy took a week and a half to return one of my phone calls. No joke. When he finally managed to get AROUND to returning my call, he had the nerve to try kissing up to me before asking if he could come by my house and help me RELIEVE SOME TENSIONS!! No, no, I believe his exact words were, "We're both adults and understand the need for balance in our lives ..." I kindly informed him, "Yeah, you'll have balance, but I won't ... not without the love ..." He finally apologized for coming on too strong, but I don't think he'll be given the opportunity again. At least not right now ...

| Does anyone remember this Taimak guy from Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon?
Well, this is him now ...

Ouch! Talk about ageless. I hate him, ... a little. He just released a new fitness DVD, and I'm soooo going to get it. Watching him during an entire workout will probably work to my advantage. Check out his website: www.taimak.tv
