umm i don't know.

I can't decide if I would call me mom or Jeremy or Emily. H is my best friend and I love him soo much, but my mom is my mom, she's been my best friend for eightteen years. And then Emily is just, well Emily haha. Hopefully they'd be together so I could tell them all I love them and goodbye.

1.) I would tell a lot of people and use it as a witnessing tool for those I don't know
2.) I would tell so many people about Christ, get married even though there's not that much time left, go scuba diving in Hawaii and wake boarding/suring and all that stuff. and then I would have a big party!
3.) not about where I would go, more of not wanting to leave yet.

no doubt I would definately rescue it.

This question is not applicable--I would never be unfaithful to Jeremy.

We already had this conversation, but I told him first, and of course he loves me too!! =D

I think I would do all I can to help him and really pray about what God would want me to do in that situation

14. What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a friend, you love them or that you do not love them back? I think at the beginning it was harder for me to tell Jeremy I didn't like him ((long time ago)) but then when I was about to tell him I loved him, I was soo nervous.

Jeremy, I've been through everything with him. He is the closest person I have, he's like my other half. I really, I don't know what I would do if I lost him.

well I love my grandma Clark (Gama Short's in Haaven already) but an infant still has their entire life ahead of them. That's too hard of a question to answer.

in second grade, I had a wedding during recess.

well, I thought I did in 4th grade with Zach Vining. But, I think I thought that because of tv and stuff. I'm very much in love now, but it doesn't hurt.

well, Jeremy and I were like, together, but then he got really annoying and I didn't want anything to do with him. This period of time was called the 'Dark Ages' and lasted two months. And this is by no means making him sound weak because he is very strong, but I hurt him a lot. I love him now and God put the pieces back together. =]

5. Are you happier single or in a relationship?
I don't want to be single. Not because I can't--if I didn't know Jeremy I would be fine being single because I would be content with God. But God brought Jeremy to me, and I want to be with him.

yeah, a lot of times. When I say it now I mean it though.

7. Have you ever had your heart broken?
not by a boy.

yes, but it's okay now :)

not really. I'm in a very different place in my life than I was when I dated them. We don't have much of anything to talk about, really.

School starts tomorrow! aaahhh! I'm nervous because I know I'm going to be swamped with things to do, but I'm kindof excited. It's hard for me to say that I'm excited because I'm so nervous haha. Also, I'm starting a Christian Club at Cosby, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've obviously never done this before, but it's not like I can back down, we've already turned the forms into Mr. Salmon, it will begin when school starts!!!!!!!!! I was planning on asking Josh for some ideas, but he's gone!!!! Now what do I do?!?!?! I'm in charge of all the talking stuff, but I don't know what to do. I guess if God called me to start this, which He did, then He will be faithful to complete it. He wouldn't ask me to do something He won't help me do. Maybe that's the first step--admitting I am nothing on my own and need it to be guided by Him and for His glory alone, this isn't for me. Well, I still haven't done my college essays. I wanted to do them today, but the more I think about it I want to savor the "not having to do anything" revolving school while I can. But then I'm scared I'll be too swamped to write good ones. I suppose I shouldn't worry too much about that either, God will get me in to the school He wants for me. Man, how comforting it is to be able to trust in God, it makes everything a lot less...I wouldn't say easier but, it just gives assurance that God's in control, that it's not up to me how my life turns out, but His. Well I suppose that's all for today. :)

Heyyy. Hmm well, I have been dreading this week since July. This has been Pastor Josh's last week as our youth pastor. Sunday was the last time watching him stand at the front reading from the Bible and talking to us, last night (Wednesday) was the last time he would sit in a chair around the circle and teach us about God and how we should live. I just keep picturing him sitting there, I didn't want it to end. I still don't, I don't think I've grasped the fact that he's really leaving. Sunday, a few of us filled his car with tons of balloons (all the way to the top!!) then we put post-its, rolls of tissue paper, then saran wrap all around his car and a big sign that said 'haha! try leaving now!' hahaha and we all signed it, it was great!!! We were going to leave it there for Crossfire that night, but people thought they were going to be helpful by taking it off ggrrr I was mad!!! but oh well, they didn't have the keys so the balloons were still in it =] haha!

Oh I have something new in my life!! My mom, Jeremy and I are teaching Sunday School this year for first grade! Our first week is THIS COMING SUNDAY!! I am very excited, it will force me to stay in line with my prayer life haha!

I've also made a very big change in my life. I won't go into detail, but it's made my walk with Christ much much stronger!! It's like this:: I love to go shopping or go to the movies. So when school starts and I have a lot of homework, I would much rather go see a film. That's when you make the choice to see the film or do your homework. Watching a movie is super fun while you're watching it, but then the next day when you don't turn in your project, it pretty much kills your grade. That's kinda how it is with God. He has things He wants me to do and things He wants me to stay away from, but I don't want to. I want to do my own things and live my way which is fun for a little bit, but then afterwards you have a load of guilt on your shoulders and life keeps getting harder and harder, I get farther and farther from the Lord, so I figured it's time to start listening to God. Yesterday I stood under temptation the entire day, it was great!! I felt so good and wow, being right with God is the greatest things! I have so much joy and feel so much better, I love it! It makes me question why I didn't do this in the first place! So, things are going really well now. I'm even a little excited about school. A little. haha! hmm well I suppose that's all for now.

hello :) Well, seven days till SENIOR YEAR begins. Excited/depressed. I'm excited to be a senior and my classes are going to be really interesting this year--I know that sounds totally dorkish but really, they are. But, I don't like school. Probably because all my friends go to Clover Hill or they're from church and are now in college or go to other schools or are homeschooled. So that's definately a downer. Also, I really just don't like highschool. I love the summer being surrounded by godly people and doing Bible Studies every Thursday and Wednesday and going out afterwards and all the fun we have, but when school starts I'm going to be so stressed out with preparing lessons for Sunday School and for NewLife Club at school which I'm starting this year then coaching cheerleading Tuesdays, having AP classes, JT classes, honors classes, college applications, scholarship applications, Beta Club, French Club, service hours, Bible Studies Wednesdays, church Sundays, then I have a boyfriend, best friend and family, and then I have to maintain a strong relationship with the One who made all of these other things possible (God) ahhhhh I'm going to be stressed so much!!! At least I won't have exams this year. Oh my gosh, I really am going to go insane. Last year was hard and I didn't even have this much stuff! Well, then graduation comes and I'm finally done with highschool, then I have a summer jammed packed with mission trips, and camps and vacations. Then college starts in August and I leave my boyfriend best friend and family and go to another state where I will know absolutely no one. aahhh scary!!! It was hard being away from Jeremy for a weekend in North Carolina, I'll be gone for months at a time in Pennsylvania!! AH! Ok I should settle down, it's a year away. Oh well. I'm going to go read the Bible and spend some alone time with God. He is great afterall, He will give me rest during the school year and comfort when I'm miles away from home. Where would I be without You, Lord?

Hello! So if you haven't noticed, some of you probably have by reading some of the surveys and all, but I was having a pretty bad time. I guess since Emily died, things have really stunk. Maybe I should explain, I know it's been on my profile and all but you don't know the whole story so I will tell you. My best friend Emily Hodges was also best friends with Emily Bowman. I knew her through dancing before I came to church with Emily H, then she brought Bowman and I became friends with her. Well in May, Emily was in a very bad accident and for a week she was in the hospital, lifeless but on life support. Her right side of the brain was gone which means no sight, speech, hearing or memory. She was paralyzed from the neck down and had a broken pelvis. Things really were not looking good for her, because if she could breathe off of life support, she wouldn't really be there. Well Friday the 18th she went home to be with the Lord. She had accepted Christ a few months earlier in February, so there's no doubt that she's dancing and praising Jesus this very minute. It is very comforting to know that, because the Bible tells us that those who have not put their trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity apart from Him in Hell. Hell is completely dark, (your eyes don't adjust by the way) but you're also burning at the same time. If you put your hand out in front of you, you won't be able to see it, so a demon could be right beside you and you don't even know. It is a horrible excruciating pain and it never, ever ends. It's very hard to wrap our minds around eternity and around the fact that it goes on and on and on, but it's real. And it's your choice to choose life through Jesus or death through the world, or satan. Emily chose Jesus and I will see her again soon.

So anyways, that was extremely hard for me. I had the joy of the Lord and the comfort knowing she was in Heaven, but then after a while I just had so many questions and I couldn't understand why. I know God does everything to, for and through His glory but I just didn't understand how this precious girl's life could bring Him glory. But at her memorial service, there were hundreds of people who heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. It might not have been time for them to ask Jesus in their hearts, but I know God used it to get them thinking. Emily isn't with Jesus because she was a good person, or because she was nice or got good grades or had a lot of friends. She put her faith, her life into His hands. Christianity isn't about going to church. It's about having a personal relationship with the Maker of the universe.

But, I fell very far away from God. I was so angry at Him. It seemed like my life was spiraling out of control. My pastor Josh who had been their by our sides the entire time is moving to Fredricksburg, Virginia. I have been having problems in the church, to the point where I didn't want to go anymore, and now Josh and his wife Mia are leaving. It didn't seem right, God's timimg seemed horrible. It's the summer before senior year, I have two close friends, one's best friend just died, it's not going the way I planned at all.

One Wednesday night I went to Bible study and it was talking about praising God, something I hadn't done in months. I didn't feel like praising Him, telling Him how just and soverign and holy He is because I didn't feel like that, I felt empty. Well I went home and I made myself praise Him, I made myself say things and then I started to feel Him, I started believing the things I was saying, I remembered how great He is, how much higher He is than I am. I remembered how His ways are just, how He can see the whole picture and I just see a speck of it, but it will all make sense later. I learned that meekness accepts the struggles that God throws us, saying "if it pleases You, Lord, then it pleases me." I received His comfort and His joy that He so willingly gives, He gives overflowing joy and grace and mercy and peace. I had a desire to know Him again, to be one with Him and work on my relationship with Him. My life isn't perfect, it has a lot of holes and if I didn't have my God, I would still be feeling empty and not want to get out of the bed. But I do have God, I have the strength that He gives me, He's made me joyful and I'm learning to accept what He's doing in my life and trust that He is soverign and that He knows what He's doing. My relationship with Jeremy has gotten a lot better, I praise God every day for him. I encourage you all to wait for the guy or girl that God brings you. Trust me, you can't pick one greater that what God picks. Please wait, don't give yourselves away, God has an awesome plan for you if you'll just let Him do it. He will write the most romantic and personal love story, one you can't even dream of. He will bless you with the prince to sweep you off your feet, but first He wants to sweep you off your feet. Wait for the man who praises God for you, who is more in love with God than with you. The Lord is the most important part of every relationship.

This is all kind of ramdom but God hopefully spoke some way through these ramblings. If you don't understand something that I wrote or of Christianity in general, I encourage you to ask me even if you think it's too hard of a question, I can try.

   Look up into the heavens.
      Who created all the stars?
   He brings them out like an army, one after another,

   The Lord is the everlasting God,
      the Creator of all the earth.
   He never grows weak or weary.
      No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
    He gives power to the weak
      and strength to the powerless.
   Even youths will become weak and tired,
      and young men will fall in exhaustion.
   But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
      They will soar high on wings like eagles.
   They will run and not grow weary.
      They will walk and not faint.
