Jo Ann's 20th @ Fish & Co.

First and foremost, happy 20th birthday to Jo!! She's always been kind and motherly to all of us.

Because I am quite tired, and I want to sleep early for Law of Investments lecture tomorrow, this blog post is going to be a quick one.

We all met up, after uni for dinner at Fish & Co. at 1u.

IMG_1580
Jin liked their tissues.

IMG_1582
Fruit was pretty last night because she was, for once very feminine, with tube and all that jazz. Hehe.

Flowers in my head made me feel extra feminine.

And TROPICAL.

IMG_1589
Apparently, hands on the shoulders were too gay. But I must say, Jack's smile here is quite sweet and attractive but really wrong for a man's face.

IMG_1590
Haha.

IMG_1583
I am quite restless when it comes to taking pics. Sorry. Hehe. Anyway, all of them didn't bathe lah, yucks.

The food was as usual, good. I always fancied Fish & Co. but not Manhattan Fish Market.

IMG_1591
New York Fish and Chips, which would have been my choice. But .... we will find out why later on.
This version of fish and chips has cheese inside, so I always loved this dish in Fish & Co.

IMG_1593
Shrimp Pasta Salad. Something like that. If I only had this for dinner, I'd die. I am a carnivor.

IMG_1594
Arthur's Peri-Peri Prawns, which I chose for him! Or made him order it. Haha. Was it nice?

IMG_1595
Mushroom pasta...which its specific name I don't know. This was Eugene's dish, was it nice?

IMG_1596
Ah! This was the reason whyyyyyyy NY Fish & Chips didn't make to my choice! Seafood platter for 1 which I shared with Fruit.

IMG_1600
Don't know what is this, but this was Jo's choice, share with Jin and Kelly. Why lah, you all on diet is it??

Then the wicked staff at Fish & Co. made Jo Ann stand on the chair and some more make her blow the candle from up there and when she failed to, they made her sing, wtf. If it's me, it'd scold her.

IMG_1603 IMG_1605
But Jo Ann was really really sporting! Happy birthday babe!

IMG_1608
We er, hope you liked the mug, because I personally felt the mug was a charm!!!

IMG_1609
Arthur, Eugene and Jin!

IMG_1610
On the other side of the table.
Three very very pretty senoritas!!! Haha. Kelly, Fruit and I.

IMG_1611
The girls with the VIP!

IMG_1613
They are not looking here because they're looking at another cam.

Happy birthday Jo! I hope you had a blessed one. Many hugs and blessings for you!

IMG_1527
Bye mates!!

Greetings.

Greetings people!

Classes has commenced and you shall, therefore, expect lesser updates. (not as if I update a lot anyways)
But the past week has been rather relaxed, well, what to expect, it's our first week. And I hate Price Theory lor, because it's damn noisy and don't know is it me or what, when you're younger, you tend not to pay much attention.

It's just too damn noisy lah!

Year 2 Semester 2 is another challenge, up for it?

Ipoh Trip - Part 3

Today, is officially my LAST day of holidays. Biggest SIGH in the whole wide world. How come it feels as though examinations take ages to end, and with a blink of the eye, holidays are over! Before I proceed anywhere further, seriously I need to post all the pictures for the Ipoh trip before my blog becomes like Jin Li's, blog posts for events come up months after the event. Hehe.

After Kellie's castle, the host, Kelly, brought us to another cave, though Fruit detest caves. But this was my favourite cave among all caves, we'll know why soon.

IMG_1344
Golden statues greeted us.

IMG_1348
And guess what us did (well, some of us)?

We climbed the stairs. Which they said was about 500 steps, but, no it felt like a thousand. Arthur the Genius, Jack the Panda, Sheng Hwang, Jin Li and I climbed the 'a-many-steps'. Coincidentally, those who climbed the stairs, are all Economics and Finance students. HEHE!

Maybe because our Macroeconomics 2 results were not out yet that time, and when we reached the top, the only thing we asked for was good results. wtf.

wtf, and all the other lazy people stood down there waiting for us. Haha. Kidding. No, I am serious.

IMG_1350
The steps were steep and narrow, it was quite a challenge to climb.

We met many monkeys like this along the way, and an after-joke about who it represents were born on MSN afterwards.

IMG_1351
This was only half way to the top okay!!!

And Brandon was saying, how much this picture tells about each of us. And picture really does speak a thousand words.

He said Jack was always confused and blur. Arthur the Genius was always serious and straight. Jin Li was always pretty and elegant. And that I was always happy and cheery. wtf. And he himself, was always Numb, no emotions.

Seriously, he ALWAYS says he is numb.

By the way, I like this picture.

IMG_1352
When we got to this point, we thought we were at the top, but NO!

IMG_1353
P6140155
Us, at the fake top point. HAHA!
So overjoyed when we got there to find out, there's more, hello?

IMG_1354
But we only saw factories. Sigh, development has brought us so much good, but took away so much of nature from us.

IMG_1356
Both of us were so dead tired. HAHA!

IMG_1359
Side ones were still jumping around like monkeys when we got up. Jack was practically dying with the girls. HEHE!

IMG_1364
Self-timer shot. Jack, why you holding my bag? Haha.

This was the best cave because we did the climbing! It was a challenge to well climb in ballerina flats/slippers and with handbags and skirt! But seriously, the reward and the feeling was awesome. It was a sense of achievements or great satisfaction. Go do it, then you will know!

After climbing what seemed like Mount Everest to me, we were hungry to bits. Excuse me, we climbed okay, of course hungry, ahem.

So I was always askinig Kelly to bring me to this place I saw in Ho Chiak for their Curry Chicken in the Bread, and seriously, this was the best best best meal in Ipoh!!!

IMG_1366
KFC, this is what you call Finger Lickin' Good!!!

Shit, anyone coming back from Ipoh, please ta pau this for me?!!!! PLEASE!!!!

The trip was remarkably all about fun and laughter. Eh, excuse me, this even beats my Singapore trip last year ok?Though they had Zara. But seriously, this was so much fun lah!

Thanks to Kelly, William and Ah Yiu for bringing us around. Haha. And seriously, everyone else for the laughter.

Wait. College tomorrow. Apart of me can't wait for college to start. So excited right?

EXCEPT FOR THE WAKING UP EARLY THING.

And, how a holiday can change so many things.

If you were in my shoes...

Sometimes we pass by inevitable potholes. Somestimes disasters pass by. But how often it is in life we can do something about it. I had enough of living in denial, came out of my shell to prove something. Then when I took a step, I realize it was a mistake made.

But why is it I am willing to be in this dark hole?

We both know it's true, but how willing am I to release myself out of this comfort zone, will depend on how much comfort zone you provide then.

And I hate the part of being an adult where we have to consider so much.

I made the mistake because of expressing myself, because I believe in expressions. I made the mistake because I wanted to sotp lying to myself. So why do I feel this is wrong?

You've got the heart, but you're fighting against time. What's more powerful?

Was I even here for this reason?!

Why am I here, making this decision?

If I was you, what would you do?

Ipoh Trip - Part 3

For our initial plan is to wake up, rise and shine at 6.30 am for dim sum. Due to unforeseen failures, nobody woke up. Well, I did wake p at 6.20 am, but together sleep with me lah, I had no intention to dim sum because the night before the MSN chat buddies stayed up too late for us, well, more of me, to consider dim sum.

We woke up at 9 something am, with a choice of dim sum or curry mee, which we all opted for curry mee because of refusal to wait. Apparently the dim sum we have to wait because there's a lot of people. wtf. Must be damn nice and famous, nevermind, there can always be another chance!

IMG_1296
Where we had our nice curry mee in the town!

Then we fussed up about why the guys never smiled in pictures especially Jack. He said he looked fat! So metrosexual lah!

But this is how Jack looks like when he smiles for pictures:

IMG_1297
This was actually caught on candid! Not bad wert, Jack!!
You look cute like Kungfu Panda!

IMG_1298
Pucker fish!!! wtf.

IMG_1299 IMG_1301
Sometimes people look so beautiful on candid. The thing is, people are too conscious about how they look or how they dress, they tend to forget how beauty prevails naturally.

It's not hiding your flaws or trying to be cool, but being cool is to be yourself.

IMG_1303
Cam-ho queen!!!

P6140105
IMG_1305
Hey, we still look so 'mei li' for chatting up to 3.31 am!

IMG_1306
People who slept like logggggs all through out the night!

IMG_1307
Guys and their extra food, which Jack consumed 60% of it.

IMG_1310 IMG_1311
Wet and dry curry to choose from. But I think they are almost the same. I love fresh mintttt!!!

The day before the majority opted for an alternative programme besides hotspring. Because if we do hotspring, we had to stay back till pretty late. Guess what touristsy thing we did?

Kellie's castle!!!

On the way we passed by this weird, er, monument/statue/deco, whatever you call it, it's nuts!

IMG_1312
At Menglembu! Haha.

Apparently, according to the host, they produces nuts here!

And our little trip to Kellie's.

IMG_1314
My sisters brought me here years ago, but they never really brought me in.
Curiousity kills the best out of me, being here was the bomb!

IMG_1318
IMG_1324
Parts of Kellie's castle.

IMG_1323
They had secret stairs like this all around. I wonder what for.
And I secretly ponder, if I have one in my room. wtf.

IMG_1325 IMG_1333
I took pictures of the corridor because I secretly wanted the ghostly images to appear lah!!
But to no avail. Sigh.

I think it only works on film cameras.

IMG_1316 IMG_1317
Camwhore pictures outside the castle. Jin Li, don't bend like that!!! She's actually one head taller than me okay.
Cis.

IMG_1319
Tree which looks like bear.

IMG_1320 IMG_1321
Jack running up along the 'aisle' like some Bollywood star. But eventually ran out of gas and had to walk up!
Haha.

IMG_1322
True Bollywood stars lah this is! Haha!

IMG_1326
Group pic, too far. Haha.

IMG_1327
This girl jia jia horny. With the finger pose and all that jazz!

IMG_1329
Sheng Hwang trying to impress me, wtf. Haha!

IMG_1330
IMG_1331
IMG_1332
View from the rooftop. Which had my legs shivering. And if you don't know by now, I am terrified of heights!

IMG_1334
IMG_1335
See the guys behind, ish.

IMG_1336
With fat hopes of graduating earlier it seems, doesn't work lah!!! Study harder!!

IMG_1337
While some took emo pics, ala Backstreet Boys style. Haha.
Why is the background singer standing in front?

IMG_1338
Brandon CHIA!

P6140112
By the time we took this pic I think we were drenched in sweat.

It was frigging hot.

Ok, if you read till here, I will continue tonight wtf. Too many pictures.
