| how to build a pyramidI've decided that I was abosolutely insane to sign up for a night history class...it makes Wednesday's very very long...*sigh* Oh well, at least I got some laughs from some of the stupid questions people ask. This one was my favorite (the guy was perfectly serious): 'Did the Egyptians build the pyramids from the bottom up?'....I had to exercise extreme control not to turn and around and say sarcastically, 'no, they start with the top and work downward'. I think what the guy meant was did they build it in corner section and then put it together. | | |
| stufnessThis weekend was very relaxing and I and my family were very lazy. My dad bought the first season of Heroes and that's pretty much what we did, all weekend. It's one of those TV shows that leaves you off in complete suspense and you just have to watch the next episode. Today was better, I went to see Majic and groomed her, she was very dirty, I think she must have gotten back from camp and rolled and rolled and rolled. After that I went over to Kelsey's and hung out for a while and talked about stuff. I got to see many pictures from her roadtrip! Oh, just a heads up for all you who read this: I got my hair cut, as in barely past my shoulders cut. You see I had to cut ten inches off for Locks of Love...I figured it was about time that I did that, plus it will get people to stop asking why I haven't donated it before. | | |
| backHey look! I'm posting! I will not however be giving a long, detailed accoutn of my summer. I may mention random things here and there but if you want to hear the whole thing then you must find another way to contact me and ask me. Anyway, school has started again, yay for comunnity college! I'm taking intro to theatre, acting 1, speach, photography 3, and acient and medieval world history. Today is the second day of classes, I don't really like the first days of classes because they're dreadfully boring...you don't get to learn anything except having the teachers go on about what you're going to learn over the semester. Anyway, my actinga nd photography class I think will be my two favorite. Both seem like they're going to be more fun then work. Oh and I now have two goldfish that are currently presiding in my room. A little one who's name is Wart, and a larger one who's name is Pellinore. I think that now that I have a goldfish bowl I shall continue having goldfish (what I mean by that is that when these two die I shall get two more). | | |
| weirdnessWell, I'm 18....odd...I don't feel 18...does anyone ever feel their age? I've never felt my age. I've always felt younger. The plus side to this is I now get to be the 'adult' on trailrides. . I think I shall take the WITS and SMWs on lots of trailrides, yes, that sounds good! In other news I went to my friend's grad party yesteday, she had tacos. I vote that when my brother had his grad party, we don't have tacos, it seems like at least half of the people who graduate (at least this year) have had tacos. I'm hanging out with some friends after church today, I think we're going to go to Perkins to celebrate my birthday. That will be fun! Then I'm going down to Stephanie's grad party and then I'm going to celebrate my brithday with my family, or at least my mom and dad, my brother with be there but he's not really the sort that celebrates. He left a rubber snake outside my door this morning. *roll eyes* You think he could be more original. | | |
| rain rain and rain and rainWell, Jenae and I went to Catherine's yesterday to spend the night, it was lots of fun, especially the ride there, Jenae had the directions out (I was driving) and we were both peering at every roadsign we went by. But hey, we didn't get lost! Very exciting. At Catherine's we saw her and Hannah's horses and dogs, and we got to see Ranch (he now Bandita's size and very cute, though not as cute as when he was a kitten). When I got home around noon I ate lunch and went out to put Majic in the trailer one last time before I go up to camp for staff training! Excitement, I leave on Monday! I also put my saddles in saddle holder part of the trailer so I wont have to have that in the back on the SUV with all my various much stuff I'm bringing up. After that I came home lazed around for a bit and then went to a friend's grad party. Now I am just haning around, not doing much, I shall probably finish writing thank you notes for my grad party and then check my list and make sure I've packed everything I need for camp. | | |
