so we tried to play hockey at the rec gym at Eastern on monday night, showed up at 7:45 to be told that there was cheerleading practice in there until 10. so we left and came back at 9:30 to see the cheerleadin team sitting in the gym in circles, crying and hugging each other for a half hour before they finally left. needless to say we were pissed at the fact that, although we were healthy, strong young men with sticks in our hands, we were nevertheless being kept out of the gym by a bunch of weeping girls.

off to Ocean City for the CFC coll-age retreat. i packed my speedo.

"Sort of" is such a harmless thing to say. Sort of. it doesn't really mean anything, it's just a filler. Sort of. But after some things, "sort of" makes all the difference. Like after "i love you." or, "you're going to live." or. "it's a boy."

so i officially finished everything on my "important not to forget to do" list. except study for my exam tomorrow. that's not something that's quickly over, unfortunately. i'm like a battery. i'm either working or dead. it's a crap life.

i want to have hockey club again so bad, especially cause i got a new glove and i want to catch things with it. but i have tests to study for so i can't. last time we had hockey club John broke my foot with a slap shot. that was not fun.

flyers season opener tonight, which is good. and TO is starting some drama about not getting a text message from Donovan. the media is also trying to say that TO insulted Donovan by saying Donovan is in better shape this year than he used to be. um well it's true. Donovan was a fat lard last year and now he's not.

i hate the media.

so it's almost october. the demetri martin CD comes out soon. i just got done a biochemistry test, it was easy. ange and maureen wrote on my car and i haven't washed it off yet.

i was watching the Phillies last night and it felt like a playoff game...i was getting shaky from adrenaline, which i don't think i've ever done before watching a phillies game. there's nothing i want more right now than to see playoff baseball in philadelphia.

hockey club is making a comeback. i bought a new catching glove on ebay, an ice hockey one. maybe i won't suck at catching any more.

i have a physical today before i start my new job. i hope they let me pee in a cup, i've been saving it. i might in fact have to ask for two cups.

well i'm hungry, time to go find some Pop Tarts

i miss shows. but not enough to go back.

my summer has flown by, i go back to school in 3 weeks. my semester of hell, that's what's coming. but i have a feeling it will also fly by. thank the good lord for good money, i don't have to take out any loans this semester.

i still need a car.

to summarize the last few weeks of my life: camp was awesome, OC was awesome, Gburg was awesome, and Fight Club is stupid...and God is always good

i'm as ADD as ever about music these days, Anberlin and Damone are getting old but other stuff is rising up to take its place...for now. i need an iPod so bad

this post is my official coming out of retirement

i recently discovered that polygamy, the only aspect of the Mormon faith that i find appealing, is actually condemned by the Mormon church. it was quite deflating actually. so either i will have to abandon my dreams of going to Utah, or i shall have to become a Martin Luther of sorts and bring Mormonism back to the basic truths upon which it started.

i would like to apologize to anyone who is offended by this post. i would also like to apologize for my fictional creations, Cryssagon the Philosopher of Evil and the Skull Sealer
