| Mike Sherman: Douche Bag.

He's pointing to Hell where I sent him. He could wear good Hawaiian shirts, but his coaching was terrible.
He's actually pointing to a better coach/human being, who is rolling over in his grave right now.
Vince Lombardi: god among men.

Currently Watching: The Pack get smoked.
| I watched the new Sigor Ros video last night. it was pretty cool. I like the song it was for a lot. I thought that if Spinal Tap did a video for "Stonehenge" it would have looked a lot like that.
"Long ago before the dawn of time, there lived an ancient race of people. No one knew who they were or what they were doing, but their legacy lives on hewn in the living rock of stonehenge...
Stonehenge, where the demons dwell Where the banshees live and they do live well Stonehenge Where a man is a man and the children dance to the pipes of pan Stonehenge Tis a magic place where the moon doth rise With a dragon's face Stonehenge Where the virgins lie And the prayer of devils fill the midnight sky And you my love, won't you take my hand We'll go back in time to that mystic land Where the dew drops cry and the cats meow I will take you there I will show you how"

So i was thinking about Lonesome Dove the other day. (I usually think about it a couple of times a week) and it occured to me that one of the most "JK Livin'" characters of all time, Augustus McCrae, died because he didnt want to live without the use of his legs. His final act may have been one of the most un-JK Livin things he could've done. Everything that he did up to that point could be JK Livin' and i guess that you could argue that living in a wheel chair in the 1870s wouldnt be much of a life, but it would be living. anyway, he's still one of my favourite characters of all time
| School started today. It's hard to be "J.K. Livin" and going to school at the same time. There's too much responsibility and too much time spent doing things like being in Weir Hall for 8 hours at a time instead of being out living life. Pizza Den is back. they're building the new place right now and even though its on my least favourtie side of town (the west side) and the building has less character than the upcoming sorority rush class, the food will be great and will remind me of a little bit of old Oxford. It will be hard not to compare the new one with the old, but just the excitement of being able to eat a Stromboli or Muffaletta is enough for me to love it already. On a related note. there is a pizza at my new favourite restaurant (Volta) called "Pizza Bob" on honor of the deceased owner of Pizza Den. i've heard its not good, but im going to get it at least once. Alex is in town right now and in a move that took him approx. 1 second and a half he gave me a new aspect to my new lifestyle choice. "J.K. Lovin'" Only he could turn a phrase like that. I'm not really sure what J.K. Lovin' is at the moment, but i know its something i want to be associated with. He also introduced me to my new fav. song.
The Wetter the Better.
