| Well, Bush is now trying to politicize the Olympics. He may actually be doing something right though; the Olympics have been very analogous to our own situation. Iraq's soccer team is doing well, but we don't have a baseball team at the Olympics (some national past time). And we went out and freed the Iraqi people from a tyrannical regime, while we have 44 million people without healthcare, and the man who attacked us is still on the loose. Is a free Iraq worth that? |

| "Since 2001, President Bush's tax cuts have shifted federal tax payments from the richest Americans to a wide swath of middle-class families, the Congressional Budget Office [emphasis mine] has found, a conclusion likely to roil the presidential election campaign." | Another great idea from the President: replacing our current tax system with a national sales tax. That's not unfair to poorer families that need to buy food...not at all.....
Oh wait, now the White House is denying it! Damn that flip-flopping Bush... |
