Well, Bush is now trying to politicize the Olympics. He may actually be doing something right though; the Olympics have been very analogous to our own situation. Iraq's soccer team is doing well, but we don't have a baseball team at the Olympics (some national past time). And we went out and freed the Iraqi people from a tyrannical regime, while we have 44 million people without healthcare, and the man who attacked us is still on the loose. Is a free Iraq worth that?

I have a good feeling that we haven't stopped looking for bin Laden.

No, but instead of concentrating our full forces upon capturing bin laden, we went on a misguided war in Iraq, who did not attack us.

no no no, secksf... Bin laden is IN Iraq! Him and Hussein were allies, and Bin laden fled to Iraq to hide. THAT'S why we have 120'000 troops there, as opposed to 13,500 in Afghanistan! They're trying to catch him!

Nah, bin Laden is hiding out with Elvis, who never really died.

Are you aware that in a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, one Iraqi soccer star indicated that were he not playing soccer at the moment, he would be fighting in the insurgency for revenge of his cousin's death at the hands of coalition forces? (Thenarrator has the source on his site.)

Americans know nothing about football - er, soccer. The President should not pretend that he does...or he may get, well, burned.

Right weezerbaby...cause bin Laden would go to the place in the world where there is a Shi'ite majority and hundreds of thousands of US troops.

Don't be a moron.

Hey, I'm not saying I know where he is. But I know none of you have the slightest clue. You can't win this debate, you don't know where bin Laden is.

well I'm pretty sure we can use some deductive reasoning to get a general location.  I'm pretty positive he's not in the US (or Canada for that matter).  And you're just proving Whackbush's point.  We don't know where he is.  He sure as hell isn't in Iraq though.  And we aren't doing that great of a job to catch ONE person.  How long have we been searching for him?  Almost 2 and a half years?  Come on...  That's a little ridiculous.  He should be punished for his actions regarding 9/11, but I honestly think he's the least of our problems right now considering the world seems to be pissed at our president.  I didn't think anyone could destroy our foreign relations as much as President Bush did.

(now awaiting the conservative comment that the US doesn't need the rest of the world and they can all go to hell)

That response will come backthatbillup, it will come from those logical folks who wouldn't think of joining the military, and don't want to pay taxes, but insist on foreign policy choices that would require us to have a five million person army guarding us and our foreign installations from a hostile world.

Or I will just say that you dont where he is again, because it is true. You havent the slightest idea. If you, the armchair FBI agent, can already tell that bin Laden isnt in three countries of the world, you wouldnt be an armchiar FBI agent.

well... I'm telling you where he's not.  You'd think you could draw some consclusions from where he's not... No, Weezer... We won't be able to tell whether he likes hot dogs...  We'll be able to tell where he IS!

step 1:  Find a general location the man might be at
step 2:  Survey the land and interview people to find more specific location

I'd also like to point out that I'm actually not the armchair FBI agent.  I'm just throwing out some common sense for you.  If Weezer believes that Osama is in Canada, lord have mercy on his armchair FBI agent skills.  If you can't apply logic and deductive reasoning, then don't make an attempt to figure out where someone is hiding.

(And I'm still confused as to why Weezer would back up WhackBush's beginning point...)

So you think we aren't taking those two extremely board and general steps in finding this man?

And what deductive reasoning is it that you are talking about?

Yeah, I can give you quite a few countries that I KNOW bin Laden isn't in, based on more than an intelligent guess.

1) Japan, unless he swam there. Keep in mind that it's rather easy to police the immigration of an Island, and it is rather doubtful that bin Laden swam from China or South Korea, which are each over 100 miles away.

2) USA. This one's rather self explanitory. I think weezerbaby is the only one dumb enough to live in a country full of people that hate him. Though, the people that dislike weezerbaby aren't exactly trying to kill him. Whether you despise bin Laden or not, you do have to remember that he is an intelligent person.

3) Iraq. Now, for someone who challenges us to proove that he isn't in Iraq, you back off quite quickly when someone (Fleigende_Hollander) gives you two very good reasons why he isn't. The Shi'ites and the Americans. If I were bin laden, Iraq is definitely one place I wouldn't be.

4) Afghanistan. We've got troops there looking for him. Albeit, maybe bin Laden is lurking there under our noses, but as long as we've got troops there, any man with brains and a wanted label on his ass would have been out of the country a long time ago.

5) Great Britain, Sweden, Norway, Spain, France, Germany, Denmark, and Finland. Unless bin Laden is personally planning an attack in either of these countries (by that I mean planning to personally attack), which is very unlikely, as that isn't his style (here's a good example - of all of the hijackers on 9/11, exactly 0 had the name of 'Osama bin Laden'. Bin Laden prefers to plan the tasks while not taking many risks himself.

Here's my guess as to where he is, though: Southeast Asia. Why is this you ask? Because of two things.

1) Al Qaeda has planned to attack from there before, the Phillipines plane bombs that happened to be thwarted thanks to PResident Clinton, and are likely to try again.
2) Nothing ever happens in Southeast Asia, which remains generally hostile to America. If I were an anti-American terrorist, I would probably try to hide in a country that is both friendly towards me and inconspicuous.
3) I know I only said two reasons, but I really don't like Southeast Asia (just look at the facts, we've got Thai food and a bunch of diseases from that area.... it's better gone). Although, I have no problem with the people that live there.

I think dubyah will produce Osama right before election time - if not the real one - a look-a-like to boost his public opinion.  Don't laugh, this is a man who stole an election in a 'democratic' government, a man who went to war with no justification, a man who represses the middle and working class, a man who would not even serve his country during war times and a man who murdered another man's children.  Free Irag - my ass - they are not free - it is total chaos and anarchy over there.  Where are the embedded journalists now?  They are not to be found because it is at the point that the PR would be bad for the mad cowboy bushie.

I totally agree.  I'm sure that our govt knows where Osama is right now.  He's an old man and on dialysis...it can't be that hard to find him.  He's not in a cave that's for sure.  And right before the election...hey look!  We have Osama!!!

I am positive bin Laden is not in Iraq.

1) He's a Sunni. Iraqis are primarily Shi'ite, and this opposition does not have as much of a religious undertone as the Western media ould have you believe. Indeed, Iraqis tend to be fairly secular, just like Palestinians. (Sources: The Arabs; Bush in Babylon; A History of the Arab Peoples)

2) Bin Laden does not want to be caught. Bin Laden has kidney problems. Bin Laden needs dialysis. Dialysis is a fairly conspicuous procedure, especially in the Middle East. We have more than a hundred thousand troops in Iraq. These troops would notice something as uncommon as dialysis for a six and a half foot tall Saudi who can't speak the Iraqi dialect. Because dyalisis, as you know if you have a friend or relative with kidney failure, is a very noticeable thing. The machine is massive. Which brings me full circle. The one plave in the world Bin Laden definitely doesn't want to be is in Iraq.

Let's do a little experiment on the PATRIOT Act...I've always wanted to do this...

I have Osama bin Laden in my basement! (My name is President George W Bush.)

ahem. . . how can you be so ungrateful towards the valiant crusaders slaughtering thousands of people to protect you and your cat from terrorism and protect the freedom you enjoy to make this page. . .  of course it was worth it, everybody knows that Bush's theorem of freedom relies on a ratio of dead Iraqi civilians which directly correlates to freedom points. Uh oh, it's code orange now, to the bunkers!!!

Let me take out the amateurs first:

LeRoiD emu: Yes, our soldiers are taught to kill civilians, what an idiot.

Magdalene Papillion: He stole the elction, eh? Um...sorry, but how? Was it not Gore who insisted on recounting the votes from just one county rather than the entire state, so he could actually throw out the overseas ballots (typically Republican voters).

Ok.

To neverworld, as far as solid evidence, you have none. Yes, you make some points, but as far as knowing you don't. Think about it: Fully trained FBI, CIA and many other countries supreme investigators are gathering information daily. Sp everytime someone claims to know eher he is/isn't, it's just elementary.

Weezer...  Your comment to neverworld is, yet again, stupid.  Neverworld used something we call common sense or LOGIC.  You seem to be saying that we can't apply the skills that we are born with...  If a cop had found a homicide victim that was frozen, they would assume that the victim was put in a freezer relatively close.  They wouldn't say "but it could be from a freezer 100 miles away".  Instant assumption.  If you can't rule out the countries he listed (from my perspective, minus afghanistan), then you really shouldn't comment on something like this.  He could be on Mars, with your desire for hard facts.  Can you prove to us that he isn't?  Cause he could've jumped into a superb spaceship, built a home, and send his terror tapes from the planet.  Or do you have to use logic to tell us he isn't there?

I'm just tired of hearing everyone complain about not catching this idiot yet.

He has an endless supply of money at his dispense. God knows the connections he has with all of the corrupt Middle Eastern governments, minus Afghanistan and Iraq, thank you Mr. President.

Actually, we're complaining because the "idiot" killed 3,000 Americans in one attack, and since then we've thrown more than 1,000 times the amount of money he has access to towards catching him and so far, we've got nothing. We've waged two wars in the supposed name of catching him, and I think that most people could have done a better job than Bush can. That's why I'm complaining.

Oh yeah, backthabillup, I actually did leave possibility in my post that bin Laden could be in Afghanistan. I don't think he's there, but there is that possibility.
