God's been doing some crazy stuff in my life lately.  It's kind of hard to deal with sometimes, but I have a complete trust in God that He will make this all end in an amazing way.  I know that some day I will get to sit back with Him and look at all this and just stand in awe of what He did.

It's all good, nothing to worry about.

I started to do a little work in the basement today, but gave up due to a lack of motivation after an hour.  I drove out to CU to buy some of my books, which was fun, somewhat cold though.  I stopped by a Wal-mart and bought some speaker wire splitters, so I can set up my surround sound system in my room at school.  It's going to be very cool.  I also got a sub-woofer.  When I was home alone earlier today, I cranked the system up, and it really has got some kick.  I am pleased with my decision.

It's kind of strange that since I declared my major to be education, I have had a very hard time taking short cuts while typing online.  So, if my entries seem like you're reading a novel, that's why.

I also bought a very cool clock today.  I'm going to have a very cool room.  If any of you want to come by and see, by all means, go right ahead.

You're probably tired of reading, and I'm tired of writing, so I'm going to make like a tree and leave.  (High Five for anyone who can tell me what that's from.)

Yet another late night, or rather early morning, drive.  Again, a peaceful oasis of thoughts and prayers, shrouded by lonliness and wonder.  And yet, it all seems to be alright when I quietly pull into the driveway.  I humbly thank God for getting me home safely, and slip through the door, down the stairs to my room to rest in His comfort for the night.  Ready and knowing that tomorrow it shall all begin again and I will have a thousand more thoughts, and a thousand more prayers.  All of which are blanketed in wonder and amazement.

God is all I have, God is all I need.

Just a thought from a friend:

I think the text was from Genesis when Abraham was commanded to sacrifice Isaac.  The pastor pointed out that God often makes us give up whatever it is that we love most--let it die--and for a period of time after that God teaches us to find deeper fulfillment, and greater sufficiency in Him.  After that, He gives us back whatever it was that He took in the first place, but in greater measure than we could have ever imagined before.

It's amazing how our God works.  Thanks for the encouragement Andy.

I started the night off with a dinner of salmon and hamburgers.  After dinner, I went to Kohl's to find a new pair of pants, to no avail.  After that, I came home and watched a show on TV.  I still wasn't tired around 10 o'clock, so I decided to watch a movie on my computer.  After little deliberation I decided to watch October Sky.  Once finished with the movie, I still was not tired, so after countless minutes of lying awake in bed, I decided to go for a drive.  I got dressed, and took my mom's car.  I had nowhere to go, and all night to get there.  I drove a few very large circles out to Cedarville and back, and finally, to my contentment, I yawned.  I tuned the radio to something soft, and because of the lack of traffic, drove 15 MPH the last 2 miles home.  I quietly slipped in the garage, and down stairs to bed, or rather to my computer to tell the world of my exciting night.

Regardless of the eventful evening I enjoyed, Satan, as he always does, tempted me with the same attractive temptation he always tempts me with, but to no avail tonight.  I stood my ground with my Lord, and simply said, "F*@# off Satan.  Not tonight."

The Lord is good.  I hope you enjoyed my story, I did.
