I originally subscribed to Donna's site because I loved how funny and cheerful her writing was. In particular, I remember her stories about her husband stood out as having been written by a wife who really genuinely loved her husband, which is something I think is rare, unique and special these days. I have no doubt that although we will miss Donna's cheerful, positive influence here in this world, the angels in Heaven are already rejoycing to have her company. I hope her family will accept my thoughts and prayers.

May Wickgal's soul rest in peace and my warm thoughts and prayers are going out to Lawson.

Lawson, I'm so sorry.  My deepest and most heartfelt condolences are with you.  Donna was ~so~ well loved here on Xanga.  She brightened our days and shared her heart with us when we needed it.  She was a beautiful soul.  You should know how sad this makes us, me, and how she touched our lives.  We did so love hearing her stories about her "Doo".  I live in PA and one time, she said if she still lived up here she would have liked to have coffee with me.  I will treasure that.  We will all miss her and our hearts are with you, Lawson.

I'd like to send my condolences to Donna's family. especially Lawson. It's been an honor to have known her here on Xanga and to have talked to her on MSN Messenger. She was always upbeat when we talked, always parting with a scripture or just a wonderful saying about life. I will truly miss her.

My heart goes to wickgal's family. She's been nothing but an angel to me, comforting me when I'm down & sharing my joy eventhough we'd never met. I'll miss her truely. I'm sure she's happier now in a happier place being an angel from heaven as she was in this world.

Bless her. A woman I grew to admire immensely. She will be missed, but never forgotten. She gave so much, and I am so thankful to have gotten to know her as a friend.    Libby.

  I am speechless, shocked and full of sorrow. My   goes out to Lawson, and wickgal's family and friends at this time of great sorrow.

Donna was such a sweet and caring person. I had the privilege of talking with her on the phone several times and I will always remember those conversations. I knew she was witty on her blog, but oh to talk with her. She could lift my spirits with just the sound of her voice or the first sentence of  her blog. I will always remember what she said about the reson she arranged the Xanga Christmas Card Exchange. She said, "Not everyone has family and friends that send them cards. I hate to think of anyone being denied the joy of having Christmas cards in their mailbox. It is such a little thing to do for people that might be a bit blue around the holidays." I know she personally sent out over a hundred cards herself to make sure that everyone had at least one card.  I don't want to go on and on here, but Donna was one of the most brilliant gems in the crown of Xanga and she will be missed each and every day.

I am so very sad for you Lawson and the rest of Donna's family and friends.

We will be keeping Lawson in our thoughts and prayers. Sending strength his way. Donna was a true hearted soul. She was always upbeat with a bit of light hearted fun ready at all times. I used to talk with (Wickgal) Donna on our AOL IM chat and came to know her as well as you can by internet. She told me just how seriously ill she was..but I had no thoughts that we would lose our dear friend. Donna we will miss you bunches. Lawson please take care of yourself. Xanga at Christmas will never be the same nor will the every day xanga. She will be missed.
