| Reason me and my brother are both engineers(Writing it before father's day, not finished till now....)
I was busy packing up for going back to Chicago, but my socks are still wet. The dryer machine takes too long and we can't wait.
The quicker and logical way is: directly apply heat to the socks and evaporate the water directly.
Dad walked into the kitchen, turned up the stove, and carefully adjusted the fire. He picked the best tools to carry out this experiment: a medium-size stainless-steel non-stick pan.
Failed.
We laughed.
Prepare, try again.

The battle that they fought with Australians, New Zealanders and Britains is still commemorate on the ANZAC day, which Australians considered it with equal importance as the National Day.
Under Roman empire, Constantinople was considered as "the second Rome" and then it actual become the capital of Roman empire and named as New Rome. After the fall of western roman empire, it is then the capital of the Byzantine empire. The Persian empire and the Greek empire of Alexander also left their footprint here in Turkey.
