| New! 5-23-07Finally after putting it off for so long, I got another knee surgery. It went great. What turned out to be a lose-lose situation
no matter what happened, a third scenario was tossed into the options
after they cut me open and it was a winner. I had a repair surgery 5
years ago, and we had figured that over the 5 years the cartilage
repair had come undone, and that was my problem. Well, that's kind of
what happened. Most of the previous repair was still intact, only a
small part was torn, so instead of removing the whole meniscus, they
only had to take out a third of it...which is very good. Best part is,
I don't have to be on crutches for 6 weeks again, only for a couple of
days. So rock on, it doesn't even hurt as bad as last time...right now
anyway. I feel the pain meds that they injected onto my knee are
starting to wear off, so I think morning and a good chunk of tomorrow
is going to be a BIOTCH! But oh well, I got vicodin, which is
currently kicking my arse, so I'm going to stop typing, because I keep
making typos and it's a pain to have to keep deleting and re-typing.
By the way, for those who haven't heard. Megan and I are 100%
officially engaged! We're thinking wedding spring 2008. So yeah, May
has been a good month for me. Sorry I never update no more, but I think xanga kinda sucks now. I'm on myspace mostly, so if you want to check that out, go to www.myspace.com/wholst007
