| PVRHello Xanga world. Go to Suzshi's site for a recap of PVR for her birthday. It was more fun than the pictures described. Also she saved my life out there on the first night. I will let her tell you the story. My hero. Up next is San Fran. and that will bring it us to 1 year of Wopper and Wopper Jr. Happy Meals.

| My DreamI had a dream last night that Britney Spears in an attempt to jump start her career, auditioned for American Idol. She had made the top 10 but then during the latest episode was kicked off. I was watching this with my gf and she began to cry uncontrolably. There was no consoling her. All I could say was why didn't you call or text in to save her?

| Peoples ChoiceBeen a while since I blogged. I just wanted to write about the sorry ass Peoples Choice Awards last night. It had to have been one of the lamest shows I had ever seen. I am not really into self promoting whores that actors are anyway but usually award shows are good for a laugh or something exciting. What was put on TV last night was horrible. But then it begs the question why we watch or why regular folks like us actually care about them at all? I never understood why i would ever think to care about what dress someone is wearing. Only that they look good in it. They have created a spin off media as well with shows about award shows about fashion at award shows about the best and worst moments at award shows et. al.. It is really unbelievable. And all the while we, as gluttonous pigs that we are, feast on the slop these people throw in the trough. Don't get me wrong I do catch myself getting into the latest Jamie Lynn Spears baby daddy drama. And I do get a bit of my own kicks at the expense of dumbass starlets. But how much can one take? I hope they never put on another "pat urselves on the back" award show ever again. How much free shit do stars need. How much adoration do they deserve and for what? Their only purpose of existance supposed to be to entertain me. Dance Monkey Dance! As an aside, actors must be really hurting right now since they are now dabbling in a place I think is very dangerious for them to be in. Not for anything that they are doing but for what the public eats up.As I was watching John Edwards conceed to Hillary last night, I see the Desperate Housewives guy right over is left shoulder. I am sure millions of people said to themselves, "wow if Jamie Denton supports Edwards maybe I should switch." NO DONT DO IT PEOPLE. People like Oprah, which I have mentioned before as having mind control over the female population in this country, has supported Obama. Hillary was dominating BO in the polls and viola, suddenly you have Obama crushing Hillary (Yes, she is a woman) in the female vote in Iowa. The turn around taking effect after Oprah hits the road stumping for BO. It took tears and the media spin to show Hil's vulnerability when she choked up during a speech, to salvage her candadicy last night in NH. But why does Hollywood think they should dictate to us who to vote for? They should keep it to themselves. Let the people make the decision. Or let the people educate themselves. Let the people who arent apathetic control the vote. Hollywood already controls our style, our fashion, our venacular, our culture in many ways. I dont want these people controling our governments and policies. I dont want people who feed on the latest gossip from TMZ or Perez Hilton to dictating to my government how to tax me or what policies will work. These people have no clue and yet they are going to pander them for their votes? Has the world gone mad? Please don't make a reality TV show about life in the frist lady's office or paris hilton our secretary of the interior. | | |
| Prez GravelI think I like Sen. Mike Gravel the best. He is so blunt and not polished and phony. While it is easire to point out the shortcomings for the front runners. He has an established record of public service. Seems to have been a jouneyman and has just tasted life a little differently compared to some of the others in the field. While i cannot endorse him with my full support I did want to raise some awareness to his candidacy cause I am actually disgusted by all the other candidates in the field on both sides. While I will agree that one president cannot effectively change and control everything for the positive, they can definately do more damage if found to be an total moron. I think moreso, congress has a lot to blame and they are prolly one of the most inept groups of so-called intellecuals around. They pose and prose for nothing more than a clip to send home to their constituents to use for the next election cycle. Politicians nowadays dont want to do the work to help their people. They want power and posture for positioning. There is no dipomacy anymore. We now have to cater to soundbits and verbal assualts to move forward any agendas. No comprimise or negotiation. US vs THEM attitude and all the while they line their pockets with cash. Spend my money with no regard and ignore my interests...... No wonder people dont vote anymore. | | |
| Miss UniverseEveryone of these girlsl are so sexy with the exception of Nigeria how anyone determines who is the hottest in the universe is beyond me. But what impressed me more was that an Asian person won the whole she-bang this year. Riyo Mori
Must be cause it is still Asian Heritage Month. Cause I don't see how anyone can beat any of the south american or latin countries. Korea made a top 5 showing as well this year, and Phillipines won most photogenic while China came in as miss congeniality. So not only are we smarter and more successful but now the universe thinks we are sexier than everyone too. | | |
