| Page 231 The End of This World Part 1 Is the world as we know it coming to an end soon?
There are many prophecies in the Bible that indicate this: 3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples
came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall
these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming,
and of the end of the world?
(Matthew 24:3) (King James Version) -BibleGateway7 "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All
these are the beginning of birth pains.”

till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall
pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

that was born in 1914? Since everyone born between 1914-1932
(roughly a generation) are now between
70-90, time is running out!
Why 1914? What is so special about that year?That was the year that Satan was cast out
of Heaven and confined to the earth:7 "And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels
fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they
lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled
down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan,
who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the
earth, and his angels with him. 12 Therefore rejoice, you
heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth
and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He
is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short”
(Revelation 12:7-9, 12) (NIV) -BibleGateway Yes, confined to the earth since 1914, and the
conditions here on the earth since then seems
to support this. Does the Bible have any concrete evidence
that 1914 was an important year?
HOW IS THE YEAR "1914" CALCULATED ? Prophetically referring to God's Son as "Lord," King David said:
"The utterance of Jehovah to my Lord is: 'Sit at my right
hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.'"
(Psalm 110:1) (American Standard Version) -BibleGateway This prophecy indicates that Christ's rulership would
not begin immediately after his ascension to heaven.
Rather, he would wait at God's right hand. 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins
for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From
henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
(Hebrews 10:12,13) (King James Version) -BibleGateway How long would this waiting go on? When would his rulership begin? The Bible had the answers hidden in it: The only city in all the earth upon which Jehovah
placed his name upon - was Jerusalem. 36 I will give one tribe to his son so that David my
servant may always have a lamp before me in Jerusalem,
the city where I chose to put my Name.
(1Kings 11:36) (NIV) -BibleGateway God approved of this earthly capital city; therefore, the
destruction of Jerusalem by the Babylonians in 607 B.C.E.
was very significant. This event marked the beginning
of a lengthy interruption of God's direct rule over his
people on earth. Six centuries later, Christ indicated that this period
of interrupted rule was still in effect, for he said: "Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations, until the
appointed times of the nations are fulfilled."

Jerusalem is indeed being “trampled on”. To this day,
life in Israel is a living nightmare. Until "the appointed
times of the nations," worldly governments would
continue to interrupt God’s rulership. That period began
with the destruction of Jerusalem in 607 B.C.E. and Daniel
indicated that it would go on for "seven times." 23 "You, O king, saw a messenger, a holy one, coming
down from heaven and saying, 'Cut down the tree and
destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and
bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain
in the ground. Let him be drenched with the dew of
heaven; let him live like the wild animals, until seven
times pass by for him.' 24 "This is the interpretation, O
king, and this is the decree the Most High has issued
against my lord the king: 25 You will be driven away
from people and will live with the wild animals; you
will eat grass like cattle and be drenched with the dew
of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until
you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign
over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone
he wishes.
(Daniel 4:23-25) (NIV) -BibleGateway How long is that? The Bible shows that three and a half "times" equal 1,260 days: 6 The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God,
where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days. 14 The woman was
given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place
prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a
time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach.

A “time” is one year. “Times” is two years. Three “Times”
and a “half a time” is 1,260 days. Twice that period, or seven “times”, would be 2,520 days. By applying "a day for a year" to Daniel's prophecy
and counting 2,520 years from 607 B.C.E.,
we arrive at the year 1913 C.E.
2 x 1260 = 2520 Symbolic Days or 2520 Literal Years. 34 "For forty years—one year for each of the forty days you
explored the land—you will suffer for your sins and know what
it is like to have me against you."

your right side, and bear the sin of the house of Judah. I have
assigned you 40 days, a day for each year."
(Ezekiel 4:6) (NIV) -BibleGateway The one year discrepancy comes from the conversion from
the ancient Jewish calendar to the Julian calendar and in the
1500’s from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar
that we use today. Taking the calendar conversions into
consideration, the experts conclude that 1914 was the
correct calculated year. What will happen next? 16 "And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast,
these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate
and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.”

glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held
a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things
and the filth of her adulteries. 5 This title was written on
her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE
ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. 6 I saw that the
woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood
of those who bore testimony to Jesus.

of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed
adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew

but there are clues in the Bible that show that the time is
near; near enough that many people born after 1914 will

When people think about the "End of this world as we
now know it", most automatically think of the last book of
the Bible, The Book of Revelation according to John. It
does have much information about these last days, but
many other books in the Bible contain key information
of great importance. This information, located throughout
the Bible, is very seldom broached by Christendom’s
priests and ministers because the threatening information
interferes with their preferred program of delivering only
"happy talk" to their blissfully ignorant and unsuspecting
congregations. What kind of threatening information? 44 And in the days of those kings the God of heaven
will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed,
nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It
shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring
them to an end, and it shall stand forever.

"And the word of Jehovah continued to occur to me, saying...
‘An end, the end, has come upon the four extremities of the
land. Now the end is upon you, and I must send my anger
against you, and I will judge you according to your ways
and bring upon you all your detestable things. And my eye
will not feel sorry for you, neither will I feel compassion, for
upon you I shall bring your own ways, and in the midst of
you your own detestable things will come to be; and YOU
people will have to know that I am Jehovah.’ "

observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and
knowledge shall increase."

He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his
face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars. 2 He
was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted

gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the
voices of the seven thunders spoke. 4 And when the seven
thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from
heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and
do not write it down."

Prophecy will be "sealed" (hidden) until the
time of the end. So When Will These Words Be Revealed? "Today we are in a knowledge explosion
which is moving so rapidly that probably
few people understand its consequences.
Terms that were scarcely heard a decade
or so ago are now common household words.
These are words like PC, CD-Rom, hard disc,
Internet, web, etc. It is now possible to
travel with a laptop computer and a pouch
full of CD Roms that contain a large library
on disc... All that is amazing! We are surely
living in the time when knowledge has increased."
"An angel speaking to the prophet Daniel seems to
refer to such a day as ours. The angel told him:
"But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of
the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go
here and there to increase knowledge." (Dan. 12:4).
We understand from this that knowledge will be
increased so dramatically that it will be a sign
of the end days. Surely we are living in such a time."

A Tale of Two Trees; The Tree of KnowledgeThe knowledge has already been revealed
to the world. Only the wise have taken
note of the worthwhile information. Increased General Knowledge is a Sign of the Last Days.
What else is a sign? We are seeing momentous world events with our very eyes.
Nobody seems to really notice that churches, synagogues
and temples are being destroyed. 
Why isn't Jehovah protecting the Churches? People are becoming homeless, dying, acting senseless
and living in misery all over the world. 
Why isn't Jehovah protecting the People? Jehovah, in His book, the Bible promises: 11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future.
(Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) -Biblegateway And our Messiah, His Son, said: 25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life,
what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what
you will wear. Is not life more important than food,
and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at
the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store
away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of
you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28"And
why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of
the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you
that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like
one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the
field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the
fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
(Matthew 6:25-30) (NIV) -Biblegateway Why are so many people not granted God’s protection? Most people think that these events are merely a series
of unfortunate occurrences. Every time an earthquake
or floods or fire destroys buildings and homes aid is
sent to the ravaged areas. Before the destruction can
be rebuilt more devastation occurs in other places. The question is, why is God allowing all this? Answer: it is God’s judgment! 
That sizes the situation up nicely! The hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, fires,
flooding storms and disease outbreaks we have
already experienced are only the beginning! It
is time to destroy everything that opposes
Jehovah! For Jehovah's people - this is good news! 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and
lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing
near."

WHICH ONE DID WE CHOOSE? 
Jehoshua Christ*, our Messiah, told people long ago they were on
a road. He said there are only two gates and two roads for us. What kind of roads? Go in through the narrow gate. The gate to DESTRUCTION is wide,
and the road that leads there is easy to follow. A lot of people
go through that gate. But the gate to LIFE is very narrow. The road
that leads there is so hard to follow that only a few people find it.
(Matthew 7:13,14) (Contemporary English Version) Today, time has run out. People on the wrong road are
headed for disaster. 15 "Today I am giving you a choice. You can choose
life and success or death and disaster."

"Thus saith Jehovah: 'Behold, I set before you
the way of life and the way of death.' "
(Jeremiah 21:8) (American Standard Version) Why is it that we sometimes find ourselves on the wrong path? Jeremiah prophesied about this well over 2,000 years ago: 23 “I know, Jehovah, that the way of man is not his own;
it is not in a man that walketh to direct his steps.” (Jeremiah 10:23) (Darby) Most people travel on the easy wide road that is so
popular. Few are on the more difficult narrow road. Notice that the two choices are "roads" that lead to
either life or death and not Heaven or Hell. But we are taught by the Christendom clergy
that our only options are Heaven or Hell. Are there other options? "But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight
themselves in the abundance of peace."
(Psalm 37:11) (New International Version) "The righteous shall inherit the earth, And they
shall live forever upon it."
(Psalms 37:29 (NIV) 34 Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will
exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are
cut off, thou shalt see it.
(Psalms 37:34) (ASV) Can we be absolutely sure that Jehovah's people
are going to inherit this world? Yes, Jehoshua*, God's Son, himself, assured us a long time ago: 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

But the world is terrible! It is polluted, violent and scary. Who wants to live here forever? The Bible assures us that things are going to change first. 9 For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah,
they shall inherit the land. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked
shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he
shall not be.
(Psalms 37:9-10) (ASV) The nations were angry with you, but now the time of your wrath
has come. It is time to judge the dead and reward your servants.
You will reward your prophets and your holy people, all who fear
your name, from the least to the greatest. And you will destroy all
who have caused destruction on the earth."
(Revelation 11:18) (New Living Translation) 6 And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie
down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling
together; and a little child shall lead them. 7 And the cow and the
bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the
lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 And the sucking child shall play
on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on
the adder's den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy
mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah,
as the waters cover the sea.

shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish nor grief nor
pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of
things have passed away."

name in Hebrew is "Yehoshua" which translates as "salvation of Jehovah".

| Page 228 Life On A Paradise Earth 
The world, as we know it now, will come abruptly to an end
soon! The survivors of Armaggedon will survive because Jehovah
will protect them from all harm. There will be no worldly government
officials or governmental structure to be found anywhere on the earth.
All of the kings, presidents, dictators and their cabinets will be deceased.
There will be no crime because all of the criminals will be gone. There
will be no non-believers of the truth because all of the them will be
destroyed. Satan and his demons will be subdued for a thousand years.
This is only the beginning of paradise on earth forever. The ministers
of Christendom teach that all people die and go to Heaven (or Hell),
but that is not what the Bible teaches us:
"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."
(Matthew 5:5) (King James Version) -Biblegateway How can the “meek inherit the earth” if everyone who dies goes to Heaven? Part of living in paradise forever on earth is not having infirmities
or illnesses. Isaiah prophesied about the new world many times
well over three thousand years ago. The promises Jehovah made
are bold and hard to believe, but His faithful never doubt that
Jehovah will do whatever He says He will do. "And no resident will say, "I am sick"; The people
who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity."
(Isaiah 33:24) (New American Standard Bible) -Biblegateway "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of
the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap
as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the
wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert."

away tears from off all faces; and the reproach of his people will he
take away from off all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it.”

25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat
straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall
not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith Jehovah.

Who wouldn't want a world like this to live in? This is our Creator, Jehovah, speaking. He created the universe,
all matter and energy and us all. If Jehovah says death will be
swallowed up forever, it will be swallowed up forever. Also,
everyone who has died will wake up from their sleep and come
back to earthly living, not eternity in heaven. "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all
who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out."
(John 5:28,29) (NIV) -Biblegateway Notice here that John did not say all who are in Heaven will
come back to life. After all, if dead people were in a Heavenly paradise now,
would they want to come back to an earthly existence? But John does not say the dead are in Heaven. That is simply
because he knew they were not. He knew that the people who
died will sleep until this evil, old world is wiped out by Jehovah
when His day comes. These prophesies about a new Heaven and
Earth have been unfulfilled for almost two thousand years: 4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given
authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been
beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of
the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image
and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands.
They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years
were ended.) This is the first resurrection.

and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any

"Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them.
They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be
their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be

Some of these unfulfilled prophecies are even older: "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former
things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind... And they
shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards,

they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall
be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work
of their hands... And it shall come to pass that, before they call, I
will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. The wolf
and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the
ox; and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor
destroy in all my holy mountain, saith Jehovah."

most people do not believe that they will ever be fulfilled.
Thus, unsuspecting people will indulge in unacceptable
behavior and evil acts right up to the very end: “On this account YOU too prove yourselves ready, because at

themselves from this prospect of living forever on a paradise
earth, the world as God originally intended it to be. Why do that? Is there anything much about this current
world that is better than paradise? Are we so addicted
to time clocks, deadlines, violence, crime, corruption,
greed, pollution, injustice, sickness and death? This is our way of life now but it is not permanent;
Jehovah’s prophets have said so.
