UGH

Remember when I said the powers that be knew what they were doing when they gave me boys not girls!?!?!?!

Well the Birthday Princess Diva today confirmed that for me!

She did get to spend 2 hours with her mom today and of course couldn't wait to get home to show me all the stuff her mom got her.....including this foot long snake lollipop ( no really I can't make this stuff up!) She got pissed off at me and STAMPED her way up to her room because I told her if she started to eat said lollipop there would be no cake for her.

"Well I don't want any cake anyway!"

ALRIGHTY then.

She eventually decided after consulting the 14 yr old that she would have cake and save the lollipop for Saturday ( I'm now frantically thinking up reasons I have to be out of the hosue ALL DAY Saturday and leave her with DH!)ok...so we eat dinner and as I'm cleaning up dishes I have eldest bring in her gifts... we joked arounda little about them being for me...then eldest cause his birthday is next week etc. So we finally get to open her gifts and with each one there is an "Oh" as she just tosses it on the floor. No thank you - nothing!

So you know I'm sitting saying "You're Welcome!" over and over again getting louder each time until I thought dh was going to smack me upside the head! Eldest finally leaned over and told her " It would be really nice if you said thank you for the gifts!"  So she said it but... whatever.... I so didn't feel bad for running out to Stitchers shortly after that....

She is a trip and a half when she gets back from visits with the mom , and the drama over not seeing her tomorrow ( the normal visiting day) started in earnest when I picked her up from camp this afternoon.  DH said she was a little snot bucket to Little Man tonight too.  I felt bad - he was fast asleep with a pretty bad headache when all the festivities were going on - but maybe it's better that way.

She is normally a very good little girl and I'm desperately searching for a way to deal with her behavior as of late!

*********************

The best friends niece called....and texted several times today ( Damn I hope I don't pay per text on my plan...must look into that! ) She has to have all of her stuff back in the house before the soon to be ex gets out of whatever institution they put him in.  He is in the process of being kicked out of the air force I believe it is and well... the whole thing is just getting to be an ugly mess... I hope she can get her "friends" husband to come help her get all her crap and rent a trailer for her because MY HUSBAND certainly cannot afford to take another day off work:::Sigh:::: where's my sign?

********************

Well hub is watching some movie with blood and guts and stuff so I'm going to bed!

Sweet Dreams all!

I'm here ...

I'm just tired frustrated, angry and in my own way.

There are far too many people in my house and it's getting on my nerves.

My best friends niece showed up Friday with her 2 kiddos under 2....finally leaving her abusive husband - that's a blessing.

My hub took the day off to drive back to her place with her today with a uhaul trailer WE rented and loaded all her crap by himself, he drove it back here to Jersey unloaded a shed we had stored tubs of stuff in - by himself - and unloaded all of her crap into said shed by himself ( Eldest and I brought our family stuff down to the basement) He then had to sort and move various pieces of work equipment he had in the shed and when he was done we get a phone call from her.... she wants to bring a male friend HERE tonight?!?!?!

Ummm

NO!

Not a good idea I told her with the foster child and you never know when DYFS will pop in etc. OK she says - see you later.

Not 5 minutes later we get a TEXT that it was her girlfriend and the girlfriend's boyfriend she wanted to come to the house BUT she thinks that maybe she'll stay there tonight.

I texted back ONE WORD

Whatever!

I get 3 more texts and she finally comes right out and says she is staying down there tonight.

I am PISSED.  Our entire family has been disrupted in order to try to help her, my husband took a day off work to get her things for her and dealt with her psycho soon to be ex and she decides to just go hang out with her friends?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I'm just thinking if it were me I'd be a little more greatful to the people busting their asses to help me and instead of pouting and doing what I want anyway I'd get back and deal with my own crap!

But then...that's just me.

Little Man had a baaaaaaaaaaddddd day at Camp today - I think it's from all the upsetment in the routine around here - it usually jars him - but taking off away from the camp director is just not acceptable.  He was told to straighten up and fly right tomorrow or he will be home doing chores the rest of the week!

He and Princess have been at each other too! OMG - apparently she is feeling VERY comfortable now! You can tell when she is TRYING to push his buttons - and heaven forbid you call her on it! OH THE DRAMA!

Yeah the creator knew enough to give me boys! ARGH lol .

HUB has been a doll! For a man with no date nights, no time alone with the wifey and many fast cooked meals he has been a real trooper!

Ok I'm off to go read a book and lose myself a while - maybe I can find a good mood in a book LOL

Peace!

Ladeee daaaa weekend :-)

Took the kids to the shore Thursday - traffic was a BEAR and a half! We didn't get there until 330 p.m! So of course we needed to stay way later than normal LOL.

Since we were doing that I called home and discussed staying for fireworks since I knew yesterday was not going to co-operate in that manner!  I was glad we did!

The kids had a blast! and came home happy and tired!

I ...of course.... forgot my camera  but that didn't take away from the fun!

Yesterday I made.... way too much food! LOL

Ribs, hamburgers, carrot &apple salad ( very good WW recipe ) macaroni salad, store bought potato salad, corn on the cob, cucumber salad and.... I think that's it!

When all was said and done - the kids asked for dessert not half hour after the table was cleared - ummm there's apples, apricots and oranges...have at it! LOL

Hope you all had a wonderful and safe holiday celebration.

and Karen H - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love ya

D
