| Long hair cutting horrors! I cringe every time I see someone with waste long hair or longer cut it short. A shiver goes up my spine because I get flashbacks of doing such a horrendous thing to myself; it was a lesson I had to learn the hard way. Watching 'What Not To Wear' they had this woman with long (below waste) length hair that was naturally blond and straight. And they cut it just below shoulder! I wanted to pull the scissors out of the stylers hands just before that moment. I admit she looked lovely afterwards with the makeup and new cloths, but why the hair? why? I know hair grows back, but it takes quite some time to get it back to that length depending on hair care and genetics. What is even sadder is that she does Renaissances fairs where long hair for both both sexes is popular, and she even said she would get compliments for the hair. She was happy with here decision though obvious unsure at first which matters in the end. And maybe the hair cut off would go to Locks of love

| Thanksgiving is on the way..where's the turkey? That holiday between Halloween and Christmas is coming upon us. A day that is for over indulgence both in food and the day after in shopping. I stay indoors on that day or bus; this year I bus for Christmas cash. Shopping during the holiday season is both very cool because the competing sales, and it also sucks because the competing sales and crazy people after them. I have worked the holiday seasons and "Holiday cheer" goes out the window half the time. I understand everyone is stress and most people see the need to go bankrupt to get the coolest stuff for people and decorate the place, but that kind of defeats the purpose of holiday cheer. As cheesy as this is, but it is not the gift but the love behind it and the thought put into it. Everyone enjoy Thanksgiving; the poor holiday gets shoved out of the way to make room for Christmas so fast. It is a day to enjoy the bounty of the year and prepare for the long winter. What are you thankful for this year? What have you reaped from this years harvest? And who are the ones that ends up being on the Butterball turkey hot line?
Gobble gobble everyone.

| UnivCon6 is Over!Only 364 more days till next UnivCon! The day after we had celebrated the of another great conference, I woke up sick and wanting to do nothing but sleep but unable to. This is not uncommon for any one or all the PRS people to be sick the day after. Our bodies hold up the battle till the end and once the fight is over and the celebration is done, the structure falls apart from the stress. At least now I can concentrate on other things and start preparing for Halloween! My favorite holiday of the year that for the last few years I have not been able to give it's due. Each year I have been able to place a plate of food for the spirits and remember those who have past on. It is also a time when I truly feel the energy flowing through everything. (As a side note. On the night when our show was to be shown at Schwab auditorium, Zach and I were outside after all the guests had gone in and we began sing "Jack's Lament" which at first we had trouble remembering the first chorus so he called a friend for it. We actually were able to stay in harmony through most of the song. I think we weirded out the speakers a bit. One of those moments of craziness that is common at UnivCon.) For a couple of days when the conference was just starting to roll nothing felt right. It was too warm for October and the air just did not seem right. Now it does, and trees are on fire with the colors of fall while the cool climate cares the smell of the damp earth all around. Now I must return to work and hope to recover fast because there is so much to do.

| DragonCon 07 I had a great time at DragonCon! I enjoyed the fact it was the convention that I was going to and that we got a small panel at the last minute as well. I have seen photos of people in costume at these events, but it was even better to see them in person. It was especially fun to see the obscure characters; saw a Pumpkinhead Jack and Dorthy from "Return to Oz" wish I had gotten a photo. It was already a day after the DragonCon and I was already seeing photos up. Once there, I was wishing for a bottomless bank account and a digital camera. Luckily Sergey and VJ had cameras and got quite a few photos. Thank the Gods for cellphones, they may be the bane of my life but they are a blessing in a crowd of 30,000 people spread out into three hotels. Mine died on the last night from text messaging; hard to hear someone on the phone with a crowd of Darth Vaders The panel went well, and having it reschedule for the next day worked
to our advantage. The sneak preview was great and I think everyone
enjoyed it, we got some good questions to. The bags also turn out nice
as well, and they also went pretty fast.

| Is Snape good or Evil? A couple days to go before the release of the seventh and finale book in the Harry Potter series, the question other then 'Will Harry Potter Live or Die?' which has been asked since forever, the other question that has also been bounced around just as long is, 'which side is Snape on?' Will this question not be answered until the final chapters of the book, or will we know right away? Lets hope Harry doesn't kill Snape the next time he sees him without an answer to where his loyalties lie. Some are even bring up the question, is he doing it for himself? Not so much for glory but to stay alive. Keeping a firm foot in each camp and staying valuable to both. Now we also hear that some main characters will die in this book, possible one of the golden trio besides Harry, maybe Longbottom or Lovegood. Hell, maybe even Lupin might die fighting to finally rid the world for both wizards, witches and muggles of Voldemort. Will Snape be one of the ones who die fighting or pleading for his life, and at who's hands? Just today on MSN news from MSN BC, a article had been posted that supposedly the entire seventh book had been popping up on various websites. They are being taken down but no one is saying if they are real or fabrications. I guess the only way anyone will know is when the book comes out Friday night. I will be at one of the many midnight shindigs before the ball is drop and the book is sold. Wearing a witch costume and just plain having fun.
So which side do I think Severus Snape falls in? Good, Evil, or for Himself? My answer.
Trust in Snape.
