OVERRWHELMEDD!!!!!! too many people visiting new york at the same time. spread really thin recently but still managing to go out, eat, party, best with the best of them carrying around a debit card connected to a bank account most people would scoff at. i dont know how i do it. im amazed myself. i think it helps being a girl and also using the subway more.

for katiana's birthday the other day, i went to buddakhan, which was way better than i remembered. the black cod was cooked to perfection and i enjoyed the truffle and edamame dumplings + the duck and foie gras spring rolls very much. i went to quality meats for july 4th weekend and it was amazing too-- the ginger crab (all in a bowl, you just eat with a spoon), the bone marrow, the "coffee and donuts" icecream dessert. last night i went to morimoto and had the duck, duck, duck (3 ways) and was blown away too (why do i remember it being over-rated?). ahh well. i've been eating quite well and it just makes me want MORE MORE MORE... i admit it. im a glutton.

so i havent really blogged about the job offers i've gotten or the jobs i've applied for and didn't get. i dont know, i dont want to jinx the process? but i recently applied to an event planning company called MKG Productions. all the events they do are really young and hip, with clients like warner music group, mtv, conde nast, starwoods, etc. in fact, vh1's "fabulous life of..." said that if you want to throw the hip-hop media event of the year, there is only one choice in party planners: mkg. id be working directly with the president, maneesh goyal, a really young, good looking indian man. i got called back for round 2 and i'm still awaiting their decision. i really really realllyyyy want it and i cant contain it... everyone cross their fingers for me pleaseee....
