It's been forever since I updated.
And so much has been going on, it's crazy.
Graduation has come and gone...and friends going to college are leaving or starting classes soon...and those still in high school start school again in another week. It's weird thinking that I won't be going back this year. But I'm glad that this is over.
Still working at Sears, but just for another month. (If I wasn't quitting in September, November would make 2 years that I've been there.) Then I'm going to have a month off of work before I leave. For those of you who don't know, I leave for BMT (basic military training) for the Air Force on October 17th, which is just 11 days after my 18th birthday. This is something I've been wanting to do for so long and so I'm anxious to finally get this new life of mine started.
There's a guy in my life who makes me smile like woah.  He's awesome, and I like him more than you know. Just being around him has changed me so much. He's had such a good impact on me, and I like how he's changed me.
I probably would have died of boredom this summer if it hadn't been for Katelyn. Maggie has been away at AIT, and Lindsay was busy helping Nate out before he left for Ohio after his surgery...then she had her own surgery to deal with. So she was busy and away a lot. ...Therefore Katelyn and I have hung out a lot. This girl has helped me through a lot this summer and I love her to death for it.
Though Lindsay was busy for a lot, she and I just went to the beach (near Ocean City, New Jersey) from this past Thursday until yesterday. We got back from Jersey last night. I got burnt like woah. But I was so happy to go because she and I had planned on a trip like this since back in the 6th grade when we became best friends. It was so much fun. 
So overall, I guess you could say life's been pretty good. I've wanted this for so long, and I'm so glad to finally have gotten it. |
