| Lost in TranslationI try really hard to study for tests and I always manage to get the average. I don't think of myself to be very smart but I know I'm capable of it. But I have to say, this test I have in less than 9 hours. I have no idea what it's on. He's never taught the class before and there's no practice questions or homeworks for this class. I so I pick up this 80 page paper we're suppose to read out of 3 papers I've read so far. It's made me more confused than ever. So I threw down the paper after 40 pages into it and going to refer to my notes. At least I get a cheat sheet with this exam.
Meanwhile time for study break. Time to beat Bleach with Hitsyuga.

| UpdateHey,
I guess I've been neglecting Xanga a lot. I don't have any pictures because I don't take any. I've been real busy late now that I go into the lab every day for about 6-7 hours doing research and then karate afterwards. Anyways I rarely have dreams and this morning I had one which is really weird. It went something like this: I was driving down this dark narrow road and a fawn jumps out. I manage to slow down in time to let it pass. Instead of running to the other side, it runs down the road hopping diagonally back n forth which makes me drive behind it slowly. If you want something stranger, my dream was followed by me killing zombies which have infested earth. I woke up when I killed them all and found a cure. Awesome huh? Then I realized I was late to work. I hope these dreams don't come true. For some reason, if I have a dream, parts of it come true. Then again I have had some really messed up ones that there was no way for it to happen.

| Never been so confused....
So my first semester at FSU went pretty well....better than I expected. I pretty started off where I left off at Tech. The thing is I'm confused as hell at the moment. I got back into town yesterday and asked when the TA meeting is and I found out today there wasn't one scheduled. Also my chemmail account hasn't been working for the past week. I find out earlier today like around 6 pm from the instructor teaching the course that I have Tuesday and Thursday 8-11 am labs. And according to the syllabus he sent out labs start this week. But the thing is school starts on a Wednesday, and I'm not sure whether to go in tomorrow and get lab training. I also don't know where the lab is. So I'm very lost at the moment. I sent the professor an email and no response. So I'm waking up in 7 am just to make sure what's going on. Awesome.
Oh and I started taking Kenpo Karate lessons again. I went in today and talked to the instructor and he said he can probably get me back up to my old rank in no time even though it's been 15 years, but I still remember it. Maybe I can get black belt after all. So after lab tomorrow class which is located across the street where I live.
So that's rant for the day. Also please come visit me over the summer. This the only free time I get till I graduate which is in like 4 years.

| I haven't checked my Xanga in awhile because of Facebook.
Anyways, I just finished my proposal and took my first final yesterday. I got one more final on Thursday.
I will be back in Alpharetta on Sunday. Call me if you want to hang out. I'll be back for two weeks.
Oh I might be able to do camp this year, but it depends how lenient my major professor is. It's also my first semester doing research, so it might be stretching it.
And I am tired. Good luck on finals everyone.

| Hey, I guess I haven't updated for awhile. My life is so different now compared to my undergrad. I actually live around people I don't know and don't visit home regularly. I have been trying to meet new people. It's just kind of strange. I don't have a problem meeting non-asian people, but chinese people are kind of hard to meet here since there aren't many. Well my asian classmates are mostly fobs, but they're cool. They don't talk to me much unless I approach them. I mean afterall, it took them a month to figure out that I wasn't Korean. Then they were shocked when I spoke Chinese. (An ABC that speaks relatively well Chinese kind of surprises them.) For some odd reason, they'll talk to me one on one occasionally and ask questions and comments and I'm thinking where do they get there info on me? There must be a group of them sharing info. That's cool. As long they don't think I'm Korean is fine. Maybe they don't talk to me much because I'm Taiwanese. Haha.They're also about 3-4 years older than me and some of them are married. In fact, maybe half the grad students are married. That got me thinking that it's probably a good time to start dating but I'm not really interested in anyone, so I'll continue on thinking about chemistry since that's what I do most of the time anyways. Most of the people here are nice. I don't think I have a student that hates me yet even though I probably grade the hardest. I've been more loose lately as long I see improvement. So yeah, that's that. I've been going to youth group bible studying and it's kind of the same back in high school. I do like that we split into different age groups. I just wish there were more college students. I'm glad that I go because I like hearing the stories, the singing, and teachings of god. So yeah, that's just about what I've been doing these days. I'll update more later. Trying to isntall everything on Vista at the moment. |
