so. this is my last entry here. i think after 3 years its time to retire it, and then i wont feel so... wrong.

tomorrow i leave. its down to counting down hours.

its funny how you wait for a moment your whole life and when it comes you arent sure its what you want anymore.

theres so many things to miss here.

the rain.

the sun.

my pond.

my friends.

james.

lazy days.

my pet store.

camp.

my piano.

shows.

driving.

my bass.

downtown.

my tower.

our parking garage.

the quiet.

my cell phone.

fog on lake tobo in the mornings.

knowing everyone.

but ill be gone less than 3 months. that puts it all in perspective sort of, but... then ill just be visiting when i come back. "visiting home". i dont think those two words should go together. from now on ill just be visiting.

so if youre visiting, is it really home?

is home where you live, or is it where your heart lives?

its been a loooong 2 weeks...

one week left before i go to college.

i finally got to go to chattanooga, it was probly the raddest part of my summer.

things are weird, trying to get as much done as possible before i leave, trying to see all my friends... its sad.

oh. i have a myspace now, so if you have one and i havent added you yet, add me.

i swore id never make one, then my friend made one for me.

does the little logo at the top with all the clone looking people where it says, "a place for friends", does that scare anyone else?

i feel like im losing my soul...

this is my last week at work... thats sad bc i really love my job...

and sunday is my last time at church. thats.... weird.

im thinking of making a new xanga when i go to college... so i wont feel so... hypocritical.

anyways tho, i havent been doing a whole lot lately, just work and hanging out... with the raddest people....

the show friday was frickin amazing.

it was my last one here i think...

till next summer anyways...

its been a good week.

i have no idea what i did all week... wednesday i went to james's then church, then swole....

thursday... umm... i think i went to richards...

friday i hung out at james's...

saturday... ice cream!! twice. oh yes. perfect day.

sunday i worked and hung out with james i think...

monday was a swoley day. which is a very good kind of day.

and yesterday... was a sleepy day.

im pulling 9 hour shifts all week bc of tax free weekend coming up. bleh. more little kids.

will everyone please agree to not take their kids to pet stores when we all grow up? or if you do, dont let them hold anything.

they drop the puppies.

its hotttttt in this house. oh well. its hot at my house to, so stop complaining lori....

niiiice hotttt shower today.

and swimming.

indy was great. wow. nothing like 30,000 people all around you... makes you feel small.

so now its back to work. gosh.

everything is getting better. you win some you lose some i suppose.

ive been thinking alot lately. but i dont want to tell anyone what about, bc they all have their own opinions.

i think im gonna go hippie. im really into hippie kind of music lately. not that whats playing right now is very hippie heehee.

but all i really listen to is accoustic.

if i cant get a keyboard for graduation i think im gonna get a jimbe. that would be hottttttt....

im excited about the show tomorrow.

and hopefully about the one next saturday. *wish on a star*

i went to the college class at youth last night. ooo that felt great.

i registered for classes tuesday. that was alright...

i get my haircut today. i wanna get it all cut off. but i dont think i will. it took a long time to get my hair this long...

i hung out with swole last night. that was nice.

so. i met this cool guy in indy, his name is rob... hes from california. it was just nice bc we had alot in common.

college is coming...

my internet is working. hooray!

camp. oh my gosh. indescribable. i miss everyone. everything is so perfect there.

especially you.

the entire week was perfect. i love everyone there so much.

i just got my pictures back. theyre wonderful.

but i came home with alot more to think about than when i left. just what i needed.

it was so simple in the moonlight...

so. this week has... sucked. alot.

at 18 years of age im not allowed to make a single decision for myself. dont ask.

i close every day this week. come visit me.

i really love my job. i dont know if its just cause i can get out of the house or bc its really fun...

i feel like a 14 year old.

in some ways i wish i was.

but mostly im glad im not.

bethany turned 16 yesterday. yay!!! that was fun. gosh i love her.

im so restless. have you noticed?

james is working again, which is good, but i dont see him as much.

all i want is to be held. and kissed.

hmm... last week i... worked. swole cheered me up on friday.

i went to the rennaissance festival saturday. i wish i had lived back then.

anyways, ill be back on friday. and ill be sad.

ah yes. the sweetness.

im graduated. im no longer a high school student.

sorry it took so long to post, theres just been so much... and so much that shouldnt be said.

im done being sappy. it was what it was, i learned what i learned, and im better for it.

working at the pet store is... interesting. the people that come in are hilarious sometimes... sometimes its sad tho.

but ive made a new friend. that makes me smile.

a little girl crush all grown up. and ya know, even the people who seem the biggest and coolest... theyre just people...

wow that one took 18 years.

but we are having a good time. we laugh. thats very important i think.

oh, and im sorry i didnt call, ryan nash ingram. my phone was messed up.

oh and i think im officially going to georgetown for those who care.

things are still weird.

im motion sick today. maybe bc life is moving too fast, not just my car.

im happy tho.

i did lots of school stuff this week.

and i watched pulp fiction at bens house

dont be a square.

its nice that everything is finally over and we just sit in class and learn a new respect for each other since we are about to leave and never see each other again.

we got our last sr shirts friday.

what a long strange trip its been.

does anybody else realize the kindergarten class of today is the class of 2017?? ill be 30 then.

gross.

the show last night was amazing. i had such a blast. ian malcomn rocked it like whoa. and it was so much fun to see matt and them outside of church.

im such a busy loser.

and swole. gosh. he was great.

people are so nice at those things. like taking care of the girls from thomaston. happy birthday to amanda.

and was it colby?

i had to get up so early for my bro's grad from oxford to move up to emory. that was nice. i rode back with him.

funny how you never get to know someone in your very own house until theyre gone.

my sr piano recital is tomorrow.

this makes me sad.

i never understood when people talked about how weird this all would be.

i wish i was a better listener.
